Poor breakfast

Staff was very helpful, room was fresh, new, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very modern. Location, although away from main sightseeing areas, in a good residential area very close to Portobello road. Good value in London.

Access through bar or small door on side street. Breakfast was awful! We could not eat there in the morning as most of the food was inedible (frozen pancakes, cheap bread, etc.) If you choose to offer breakfast, improve the quality of food and clean tables so that they are not still sticky with beer from the patrons the night before!

Hotel was clean staff helpful and friendly.

my room was road side which was extremly noisy so did not get much sleep. shower was broken. I have to say for the money the breakfast was poor.

No hot water on second morning

The attached bar is trendy and has a terras. Lively atmosphere. Friendly staff in bar & hotel.

Windows in the room are badly/not isolated...so there is a lot of street noise.Room was small and I could not open my window....

Vibrant, friendly bar and restaurant downstairs. room quite small (this is London) but everything we needed, with bright, contemporary decor. Felt fresh and welcoming. A great location.

Excellent hotel with nice stylish rooms, beds, bathrooms and friendly staff.

No elevator

Everyone very friendly and very axious to make our stay enjoyable.The rooms, decor and finish were all excellent as was the breakfast. The only fault would be that in the Cosy Room there were no Tea making facilities.

We loved the hotel, very modern, nice decor, comfy bed, and a beautiful bathroom. Nice pub downstairs , all the people working there are very nice and helpful.

Perhaps it needs to get free wifi to be the best hotal in London.

We really enjoyed our stay at the portobello house. Its location to Ladbroke Grove Tube station and direct link to Paddington station made it ideal for our base. The rooms were excellent and food in the Restaurant also very good.

A lovely hotel and restaurant, Carlos and his team made us feel very welcome and treated us in a very friendly manner (very un-London). The prices are very reasonable and I shall hopefully be making another trip there in the very near future. We were there to see my younger sister and this place made us feel like nothing was too much trouble... I cannot recommend them enough, far better than the faceless 5 stars that will knacker your bank balance and make you feel unwelcome. Enjoy!

Premises beautifully modernised, tasteful and very welcoming. Owners and staff very welcoming, pleasant and engaging. Impressed with kitchen and work of chef from first principles. Bedroom very comfortable.

Le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux! On a beaucoup apprécié la déco et le confort des chambres. L'hôtel se situe dans un quartier agréable, bien que ce soit un peu excentré on a le bus et le métro pas loin.
