Impressed by overall appearance of hotel, restaurant, bedroom. Evening meal was good on the whole. Bedroom was attractive and well designed.
Staff in restaurant weren't really "on the ball"! The continual noise during the night was unacceptable - presumably came from the boiler room which sounded as though it was next door! Will not be returning!
Staff were friendly, efficient and accomodating. Beds are comfy. Bar and restaurant area nice
The hotel needs a make over! Rooms are dated, doors out to the corridor are flimsy meaning you can hear conversations from the rooms, and from the corridor! Bathrooms small, old and toilet didn't flush
The dining rooms are the hotels saving grace.
The room was poorly maintained, not very clean and could do with modernising
Restaurant menu and food
Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms accurately described. Food adequate but not special
Lack of truly fresh breakfast coffee
Cleanliness, atmosphere, welcome, restaurant
Breakfast. Such a poor contrast to the evening meal.
The bed was very comfortable
The bathroom was very tired for a superior room and I wish we had been warned that a wedding was taking place. Lots of noise with young guests running up and down the corridors
The food in the Bar was very good quality was a great stop while visiting friends in Romsey
Lovely looking communal space. Nice friendly staff. Comfy, big bed!
A little large for my liking. Bathrooms could do with updating.
The venue and the outside of the building. Excellent, polite staff.
Run down and damp inside
Fabulous place to stay. Rooms were great. Staff were excellent.(especially Amy who served us in the restaurant !!) Food was delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Good location and loads of parking. The food and staff in the bar restaurant were excellent. The room was a good size with a small balcony and the bed was comfortable.
Unfortunately there was a wedding at the hotel on the night we stayed and there was a great deal of noise. Greater sound proofing along the hotel corridors might help to improve the sleep of those guests not involved in the celebrations.
overall good value; bathrooms were a little dated, however clean. Rooms were very quiet.
Being told to leave the bar at 11pm whilst still drinking!
The room was lovely and spacious and the bed and sofa bed was lovely and comfy, the bar area was nice and the staff were friendly.
It's not suitable for children, no childrens juices our two year old had to drink diluted j2o there was nothing in or around the hotel to occupy her with, we chose to eat out as the restaurant was a little pricey and not a great family menu it's more couples fine dining which is great if you like that type of thing.
The bathroom was dated and a bit scummy
cold room and corridor far from reseption and restaurant
Quiet room Blackout curtains Staff very friendly Bed quality Room furniture Room Balcony Breakfast room
Ads annoying at switch on of TV Cold plates for hot food at breakfast Room decoration in places tatty Carpet looked as though not vacuumed at edges Breakfast items should be replaced before they get empty- needs better monitoring by staff.
We had a very quiet night in a spacious room.
There was only one set of towels in the room. We had to get someone to come up as we couldn't get the television or telephone to work. The television needed the aerial plugged in. Otherwise everything was very good.
The hotel is even better than what the pictures would suggest, starting from the rooms to the bar-restaurant; I was travelling alone for business, and when I told the receptionist, they reserved me a double bedroom to make me stay more "comfortable". The room had an amazing garden with high trees on the back side, where I could sit and relax having a cup of tea in the privacy of my bedroom. Very nice staff and good food; I was disapponited just because I could stay only for one night. Definitely I will go back
Food & Staff were excellent, comfortable bed and nice room. All services we required were provided for us on request and always in a friendly manner by the staff.
Fridge and additional bedding in the room would have been of great help to us with a small child.
ambience, bed linen
slow internet, poor tv choice, small room
The Staff and comfort of the hotel were wonderful. The food was excellent and great value.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and a good size. Buffet Breakfast is worth it!
Could hear people in the room next door (they had a baby with them)
bar area was good
