The excellent helpful attitude of the owners who could not do enough to ensure that our short stay was pleasant and hassle free. The accommodation and public areas were scrupulously clean and well cared for. The breakfasts were excellent and every possible options were available including lots of fresh fruit as well as a great variety of cooked items. We were able to stay in the premises for as long as we needed to and the parking facilities were first class. We would recommend any clients who value friendly helpful service in a quiet village environment to stay at Pound Court.
We enjoyed the breakfast and the room was clean
We were given a room overlooking the car park which was noisy in the early morning The washing facilities were very very small, the dining room was dingy.
Pound Court is, to put it simply, classy. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The house is just a few yards away from a pretty babbling stream with lots of ducks on it, and you can sit in the garden and let the world go by. Breakfast is outstandingly good: Angela, the proprietress, provides a sumptuous array of fruits as well as the usual choice of Full English items. The prices make Pound Court excellent value for money.
This is nothing to do with Pound Court, but you cannot get an evening meal in Harbertonford.
Very nice owners and great breakfast.
Price, breakfast, setting, comfort all very good. Lovely spot to discover some beautiful hidden villages /pubs/gardens.Ferry from Totnes down to Dartmouth a lovely day out. Angela a fabulous host.
Nothing to dislike
Quiet location. excellent.
Beautiful situation and lots of character
room modest and en suite a little dull
Everything! Angela was a marvellous hostess and a fine breakfast chef. The Devon hog's pudding was particularly outstanding. A wonderful choice of cereals etc and jams made this a fabulous breakfast. Angela made us feel very welcome. She was efficient and humorous. Our room had v comfortable beds and a lovely old fireplace, lending a sense of history, which was also just right for our golden retriever to lie in! Newspaper shop opposite and lovely river walks in one of the best villages in the South Hams.
Location and how friendly Angela was she was an amazing host however we did have an emergency but she accommodated remarkably for. I'd always recommend a stay there
There was nothing not to like we had an amazing view over the river
Excellent room, comfortable, clean, adequate storage. Parking good. Very, very quiet. On a nice day you can sit outside on secluded decking by a running stream. Welcome by the owner with a good sense of humor.

Bathroom a bit small
Nice location. Helpful and organised owner and good breakfast.
Room could have been a bit cleaner, very dusty under bed and furniture and decor needs a bit of attention.
Location was wonderful. The owner was very gracious, breakfast was great. Historic building, nice grounds. Close to town of Totnes.
Limited flexibility over breakfast time Steps between sleeping area and toilet facilities TV required to be left on permanent standby
Overall ambience of facility. Location central to numerous places of interest.
The site a little impractical with regard to eating out in the evenings.
