Location is ideal & staff very friendly Although we did not need it this time, the absence of air conditioning in the bedrooms could be a real problem in summer |

We liked the food at breakfast, lunch and dinner and we thought the staff were very good and tried hard to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was not cleaned properly very day for example the carpet was not vacuumed during our stay of three days. The room had clearly been used by smokers and the smell was still around. |

We stayed as we were visiting the Thermae Spa Unfortunately for us we were more than disappointed with the food, We had an evening meal on the Monday, my dish was wrong and my sisters food was cold. The breakfast was also not up to much and also not very hot/ |

The bathroom was a bit dated, and the paintwork e.g. scirting boards needed a lick of paint. |

Pratt's hotel is a beautiful building which oozes Georgian charm. The staff were helpful and friendly, the location was excellent and it offered both value for money and comfort.A thoroughly enjoyable stay. |

The closeness to both the raillway station and the city, without being too close to either! Very friendly and comfortable, and old building |

The position is excellent - two minutes from the heart of Bath. The reception rooms are fine - large chandeliers and faded grandeur. A good breakfast was served by polite and helpful staff. My bedroom was dull and uninspiring. Admittedly we had asked for a quiet room - away from the front of the hotel. The room was clean but very basic. When I tried to open the window I discovered it was held together by a bit of string - the sashes had obviously broken. Needs a lot of money spent on it - but unfortunately the prices would probably go up accordingly. Generally enjoyed my stay though because of the brilliant position. |

Location was excellent, just a short walk from train station in one direction and to Abbey and Baths in other direction. Rooms were a bit worn, but everything was clean and the room was spacious. Full breakfast was excellent with a good selection of eggs, meats, cereals and fruits. Staff was very helpfu and friendly. Building is very old , so hallways are narrow, floors uneven and creak and stairs are narrow. Depending on your viewpoint this is either quaint or too old fashioned. Internet was only available in first floor common rooms. This was my husband's biggest complaint. However common rooms were lovely and large,so it was a workable option. |

Not much to like From the creaking old floorboards to the dead flowers in the front entrance, torn carpets, dirty cups and saucers in the room. a lift from the arc that jolts on reaching your floor and perhaps stops between floors every so often, staff that are unhelpful to the max , no room service offering and generally dirty throughout |

Everything! The room was great, comfortable bed, great bathroom and the dining room was large and buffet breakfast was the best I've had so far! Staff were nice but could have been a bit friendlier |

The breakfast provided is excellent. Not only you could eat as much as you could, but also with pretty good quality. It's a bit noisy in the early morning. The birds around will wake you up earlier than the hotel's morning call. |

Calm and peaceful atmosphere, atmosphere of faded grandeur. Great position, close to city centre and railway station Cleaning standards in the bathroom left much to be desired. Bars of soap woudl be useful instead of, or as well as liquid soap |
