Expected more from the hotel from the write up on the web ! Found it to be old and the room although clean had mould all along the ceiling in the bathroom. The furniture could also do with an update!! Do not think that for the amount paid for the room that it was worth it at all!!

Staff were very friendly. This is a good hotel for older people and coach tours. The breakfast, was included and was excellent - hot dishes as well as contiental - full marks for this. This is an old hotel and it shows. The carpets could do with a thorough clean. I ordered a hamburger in the bar and had to wait over 3/4 of an hour for it and it was extremely dry.

Being so close to the amentites, the room was superb, the breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. The staff were polite and very helpful. We would definitly stay at Pratts Hotel again. Liked everything the only slight critisiam would be that the waitresses bring your cooked breakfast before you have finished your cereal.

The staff were very helpful in general however there was a problem with the breakfast staff on our last morning but this appeard to be because of sickness and the breakfast in general adequate. The rooms were quite large Reception area very dated and not a good advert on arrival. Whilst the rooms were clean the door frames and other doors in the corridors were very dirty. The rooms were very warm requiring open windows therefore as it is in the centre of town and opposite an all night taxi rank it was very noisy. It is overpriced for the facilities on offer

I liked the convenience of its central location and the fact that it was just off the busier, noisier thoroughfares. Interior decor is getting a little 'tired'. Replacement carpets and fresh coat of paint could work wonders.

The location for both Bath Spa station and the city centre was excellent Some of the twin room sizes were very small in comparison to others in the hotel, yet the same room rate was charged

Comfortable, slightly faded hotel right in middle of Bath. Quiet with convenient carpark opposite. Unfortunately the boiler broke down at 6am on the morning we were leaving for an early wedding at the Roman Baths. So cold shower....that time.

Did feel that the hotel was in need of a major overhaul. Having a shower over a bath is fine, but, when it is fixed at such a low level that you cannot get under it without ducking - just not very convenient. Plus the water flow was just a little over a trickle!

Spacious room. Good view. Clean bathroom. Very noisey in the evenings with people shouting etc outside until 3 and 4 am. Not sure where they were all going - possibly walking home from pubs / clubs - very noisey though. Showerhead broken and wouldn't stay raised up so shower head was at waist / chest height.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the station and very central for shopping/eating/theatre. The decor is extremely dated, carpet in general areas is getting very worn. The hotel has a feeling of being rather aged and in need of a complete makeover.

The central location The hot water tap in the bathroom didn't work, the light by the bed didn't work. Our check in time was 2pm but we had to wait until past 2:30 pm for our room as it "wasn't ready yet" and when we arrived in the room theer was only 1 towel for 2 people - so we had to call down to get the raminder of our towels. The bed's were very uncomfortable and one was on such a slant that you had to hang on when you rolled over, because you felt like you were going to fall out.

Room was adequate and had everything I needed. Bed not particularly comfortable and too much noise transmission from other rooms (one guy liked to talk throughout the night and kept waking me up.)

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. Very helpful staff. Very nice breakfast. Close to bus and train station and close to city center. Charming clean room. Never got a washcloth even after asking. Light above bathroom mirror didn't work.

We very much enjoyed the stat at Pratt’s Hotel. It is a charming old building, with a beautiful dining room. The breakfasts were great, and the service friendly and attentive. The floor in our room had a curious dip in the middle, but that was part of the charm. The only thing we seemed to lack were very detailed instructions of how to get there, but we eventually figured it out.
