Location is a bit inaccessible if you are a visitor or tourist
Friendliness of staff Bar Ironing board in room
A little far out from the city (£20 cab ride) Decor a little confusing (mixture of styles) Decor a little dated
Staff the room and the area
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. This is my hotel of choice when I work in London - which is a significant amount of time. I have stayed in a few others and they don't even come close.
Clean, Large rooms Tea and coffee. Not many staff on reception, answering the phone whilst dealing with customers.
Parking Very expensive, bathroom very small, Hotel works being carried out and no prior warning.
Easy access to Central London
Staff had no interest in the customers
Location Room Furnishings Bar/Reception, area atmosphere Comfy bed Shower
Bus stops practically right outside. Shower was very nice Child friendly.
Air conditioning unit was very noisy even when turned off. Room, although pleasant enough (and very basic) looked nothing like the preview pictures. Having to pay by the hour for wi-fi.
The room was clean and big impressed service was amazing. I was there for a day trip and can't complain
Heating didn't work that was the only let down
We had a two bed apartment (for two couples) and was very pleasantly surprised with what we got for the money. Apartment was nicely furnished, very clean and modern. We had the main double bedroom and we had no noise from outside or from other guests. Would stay again.
Was quite a walk from nearest tube. We aren't confident enough for buses so we used Uber for our night out. We paid £2 to try out the wi-Fi to stream some music but couldn't even pick up a signal. Didn't really like having to pay a £200 deposit on top of the cost of the room, but we got this back with no problems.
Location was poor, staff struggled with English, accommodation was dated and gaudy
cleanliness security price good shower
no soft edges or carpet, a bit too bare bones functional for me. not a great part of town for a single woman traveller
I asked for - an iron and had one brought to my room in two minutes. - taxi and one arrived within five minutes.
There was no working light in the bathroom.
Staff very helpful. Hotel comfortable and clean.
customer service was ok price was good room was ok but bed average
no Tube station in close proximity, limited taxis but hotel were happy to book local taxi driver. no free Wifi
Helpful and friendly staff. Clean. Ease of travel as bus stops were only a few metres away. All facilities in the room you would need.
Fresh coffee for breakfast would have been a nice touch although the machine stuff was ok. Referring to the rooms as cabins was a bit odd!
Staff very helpful and friendly
Not too expensive, had a shower. The view of the Shard.
The bedroom floor was plastic and cold
cleanliness staff helpfulness Staff courteous
No carpets in room. All tiles floors
Everything but directions for arrival
I arrived in a car in the dark. No place to stop at front of hotel. No way of knowing that parking was at rear. Very frustrating 15mins trying to gain access after 200 mile drive
Family rooms are a good size with great beds!
Only Continental breakfast available.
Air con/ heater very noisy. In this day and age wifi should be free!
The Wifi connection
Staff very helpful, you can buy travel cards for use on buses, tubes. Staff have access to what number of buses to catch into London
Only thing I dislike is that the hotel is described as tower tower bridge, but is a good distance away from tower bridge it self, I thought when booking I was staying more central.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was hot and the room and toilet were all clean.
Unfortunately I am a light sleeper and I found my room (203) rather noisy. Although I had the aircon switched off, a loud whooshing noise came out of it every few minutes! I could also hear the lift's electronic ping at regular intervals through the night. So I didn't sleep well at all.
