great hotel first time used premier great staff excellent breakfast good location just of A90 taxi no problem to city centre
Comfortable Easy to access
The noise from people in the bedroom above
First time ever I drove to Beach only 5 mins away. good way to start days work
Sign for Hotel can be missed if coming from Aberdeen
Excellent restaurant and bar to relax in after a long day travelling
Nothing near by
Nice room, good bed.
Far fron the city center, access only by car.
Premier Inn is always good value: Nice rooms, very clean, excellent food, enough parking lots, easy to reach....
Wi-fi should be free! Even small guesthouses can do without charging. Why can't a big chain as Premier Inn?
Very comfortable and staff lovely
Very difficult to find. Sat nav indicates arrived while still on motorway. Signposting on main road and some indication at end of street to show it is a premier inn. Currently only name of hotel. Would never have found it without asking directions.
Unpleasant smell in the room (and the corridor) but wasn't possible to open the window.
Food and beverage facilities Good value accommodation
Breakfast needs to start earlier at weekends Very drab building exterior
no clock in the room no face cloth in bathroom
We asked for 2 baby cots in the room and sent a reminder email the day before about this request. When we arrived late at night they were not in the room and we had very tired babies waiting for them. The staff was able to find one and offered to find another but we decided to make do.
The person on reception was very helpful and friendly. Room clean and comfortable.
Free wi-fi would have been nice. Inexplicably long wait to be seated for dinner in attached restaurant (30 minutes+) despite there apparently being plenty of places to sit.
Good bar, good selection of food. Room Usual standard (clean)
Post Code in satnav did not take me to Hotel. No answer wham I called, auto asked to try later. Better directions on website please? if Sat nag fails to find it: "Ellen Road" is not the location! What is "Murcar!?" Sat nave didn't even see that as a town or location. Why not get a big Premier Inn sign up on the the main road at the roundabout? **Also really annoyed to CONSTANTLY see £29.00 rooms advertised in emil promos, ads & papers, my 4 colleagesI have used Premier in for 10 years and NEVER had a room at that price. In all your Aberdeen area Hotels its always £130, plus pay for breakfast, PLUS private parking in the city center one. Car park spaces are way less than number of rooms, so even booked, you can't get a space if its after 5pm. £29.00… Never. maybe 1 room in the country -on christmas day..
Room was comfy, staff were friendly and helpfull, and room was reasonably quiet and clean. Went for a meal next door and found it to be of an acceptable quality.
Heard person in room above clumping about through floor.
staff were extremely helpful.
Almost impossible to find, signage is obscure and entry road (off B999?) makes no reference to Premier Inn. Quite a distance out of Aberdeen proper. WiFi signal strength was marginal and when we paid the 3 pound (unlimited) fee still timed out as though we were using the 30 minute free version. Hotel could not refund fee because they had not produced voucher due to their computer problems.
Helpful staff; room and corridors easily managed with wheel chair.
wi-fi not available in room (hotel system down); no black pudding on breakfast menu (we're an English chain !!!!!)
Ideal for access to Aberdeen . Room very clean and bed , as always in Premier , excellent although the pillows didn't suit my needs. Parking available and a space always to be found. Re Reception Staff , a huge thank you for their attention and interest , their friendliness and care .
Unfortunately this hotel was booked by groups of Oil workers and to call them rowdy is the most polite word I can find . To this end , I had to complain about the continual noise , banging about and simply being anti social and thoughtless behaviour of these so called '' grown up '' men. The Reception staff were wonderful and did their best but unfortunately they cannot choose who books a room. To this end , I received a full refund for BOTH nights I stayed there . The second night required me to get dressed at 0130hrs and go to the reception desk to complain . As said in the POSITIVE BOX , the reception staff could not be faulted and I got the feeling that other people had also complained . Breakfast was o.k. but I felt a bit dear for what it was. The cooked breakfast order was given to the waiter and you had to specify the number of whatever items you wanted , including half portions . T he buffet referred to the cold selections of fruit , cereal etc. The seating arrangements were very odd inasmuch as we were seated on the lower level and had to run up and down a set of stairs leading to the upper level which housed the cold selection, the grill for toast and the tea and coffee... great if you had four pairs of hands
very nice overall with friendly and helpful staff
little bit too far out of aberdeen
Very pleasant and helpful staff other than some noisy guests upstairs from us a relaxing break
Location nowhere to go for a short walk
the rooms were clean and receprion helpful
the restaurant attached to the hotel was very poor, we were a large family group attending a family funeral for 4 days, they were aware of our arrival as i had spoke to the restaurant manager previous to our arrival. on the first night we were told we would have a long wait for a table, then to wait over an hour for food. we were then told not to attend for breakfast before 9 as it was inconvenient for the kitchen as they were busy. on the friday night we were asked if we would like another drink just after 10pm to then be told 5 minutes later the restaurant was closing and the children had to leave the bar so we were unable to finish our drinks!! on saturday night we had been out and arrived back at 10 30 to be told the bar had called last orders and we had to argue to get just 1 drink. i feel it totally lets the hotel down, the staff were very unfriendly and not pleasant.
The location was ideal as we were attending an event at the AECC.
The room was good but was equppied for a disabled person. This being said as we were only staying one night it didn't really affect our stay. We were paranoid we were gonna pull the panic cord in the bathroom.
Staff were excellent and most helpful room was very comfortable.
Thought the sausage at breakfast could have been tastier could'nt fault anything else except the prices in the bar
It was as spacious and well appointed as many much more expensive hotels. Good service and accessible rooms (I am disabled).
Would be better if wi-fi was free - but the price was reasonable compared to competitors.
Staff were helpful/food was plentiful & good and room was clean an enjoyable stop over .
Very helpful and friendly staff. The food next door was very good and again very friendly and helpful staff.
Slight traffic noise especially early morning but this is Aberdeen, and it does wake up early.
