Both staff of the Premier Inn and Beefeater were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble :oD
The room was cold, the heating kept going off. The shower wasn't powerfull took ages to get shampoo out of hair. Not enough Tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk for 2 people to share :o(
The room was cold and no coffee! Bath was too narrow and very uncomfortable. For the facilities provided it was not value for money especially when I was paying for two rooms. Service in the pub next door was poor too :(
The handles on the bath were very dirty underneath. The cleaner had obviously missed cleaning them for years.
Heat control in room so not too hot. Bed sheet supplied if duvet too hot, also fan in room
No walk-in shower. This would be so easy for less mobile travellers.
It would be nice if you had an extra 15 or 20 rooms, some friends would have liked to stay but you were already fully booked.
room size and en suite
Duvet too heavy and pillows too floppy
Very friendly staff. Comfy beds. quiet rooms
Room far too warm. Bathroom small
The room was very clean and welcoming...with a fan already on to keep the room cool when we arrived. The beds were all comfortable and we all slept so well. The staff were lovely and welcoming, overall a very nice stay indeed. Will definitely stay at this one again.
The fact that there was only 30 minutes free wifi. I think in this day and age, that wifi should be throughout the entire premises and free for all customers. It is just the nice thing to do.
He was very friendly and helpful
£93 per night is the equivilant of £2828 per month. I live in zone 2 in London. My monthly rent is £1828 less per month than it would cost me to stay at your hotel for the month. Would never stay at your hotels again.
We liked the location of the accommodation it was central but not to hard to find, we liked the affiliation with beefeater, the restaurant was great and convenient for people that don't know the area, a discount for Premier Inn stayers would have been nice because we spent a lot of time in there.
We didn't like the fact that there was no fridge in the room, we stayed for over a week and would have preferred to make our own breakfast, store cold water ect. This just made our stay a little more expensive and just a surprise for us because we are used to always having them in the room in Oz.
Comfortable bed. Very quiet room. Tea making facilities in room and only had to ask for more tea bags. Shower good and room very clean overall.
Room too hot but fans were provided which worked well.
The rooms were far too hot even with the window open and the two fans that were provided on. Really bad nights sleep due to the heat and it was not hot outside! I would have hated staying there in the summer months!
Bed was comfy.
Room was far too warm - we had a noisy room by the road.
friendly staff refund of all hotel costs due to complaints
expensive overnight poor Beefeater
Friendliness of all the staff at the hotel.
The beefeater on site, very slow service, and it was quiet, plus tea and coffee at breakfast luke warm. I would not eat in there again, we had breakfast at the Giraffe at tescos, quality friendly staff, hot and fresh tea and coffee and food far superior.
The room was excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Staff was very friendly. Beds very comfortable. Liked that we had family accommodations with a single bed for child Bar next door had very good food Very clean We walked to town centre (1 mile)
The staff at the Premier Inn were extremely helpful and I would be happy to recommended this hotel.
The bed was heavenly - great night's sleep!
The Beefeater next door was a little tired, could do with a spring clean. Tables could have been cleared & cleaned !
Staff on reception very welcoming on arrival, always spoke when leaving and arriving during our stay.
After a day on the ferryfrom France it was a relief to stop off in Abingdon on our way home to Shropshire. We had an excellent night's sleep ,a very nice continental breakfast and a spacious , comfortable room. The staff were efficient and helpful.Perfect.
It was all good
The service at the Beefeater was awful
very friendly staff
