Bar and restaurant area
Corridors and rooms need redecorating
location , restaurant and bar, clean room. free parking.
had to wait 45mins for room. lift not working, carry bags up 2 floors.
Staff lovely, very clean rooms, 10 minutes away from airport all for a bargain £29!!!!
Room a little small but perfectly adequate.
Price was good Beds were comfy Staff were helpful
Comfortable, clean room. Location for travelling to Manchester by train was superb. good wifi connection. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area.
Lift didn't work. Bathroom had mould in bath area and no heating. Pub was on the expensive side.....especially dinner and breakfast. I opted for continental breakfast and paid £6 for a bowl of cereal and 2 crumpets.
Lovely welcome at reception. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Excellent food and drink, the dinner we had was really well put together and cooked.
The lift is rather old and needs passengers to remember to close the gate when they leave it, other wise it stays where they left it.
Excellent location. Typical quality to be expected from a Premier Inns
Wi-fi was poor in the room
Excellent servicd in restaurant, really friendly staff.
Bathroom a little bit cold but nothing major
Location - for the village and all it has to offer plus walking distance from the station for regular trains to Manchester, London and more, 10 mins by car from the airport and motorway connections.
Poor tv reception and missing some main channels altogether.
Although this hotel is nothing special, it's a perfectible acceptable no thrills hotel. The room was basic but clean and functional
I couldn't get the WiFi to work in my room
Stayed for the budget and is perfect;y adequate for purpose with no frills. Pub itself is very nice with good food and extensive menu. Room is basic but ours was clean
Bedroom door didn't seem to lock, no probs for two friends but might be for others. Sink plug was stuck. Reported first morning but never solved.
Location, decent restaurant and bar downstairs, comfortable bed
Wifi too weak to use Sockets to close to shelf so could not plug in phone charger Lamps too dim to read with No sockets next to bed Run down feeling about the hotel In general, not suitable for business travel
Location in village - proximity to restaurants, train station and airport. Standardised room sizes
Small outdated bathroom
Clean room, convenient position, good parking
Depressing decor in the entrance and corridors. The pub for breakfast is very dated and needs upgrading to modern style.
The beds and cleanliness. Breakfast was yummy and the pub and restaurant are really nice. All the staff are lovely and parking is very convenient.
Bathrooms... Difficult to control water temperature and they need updating. Wifi... The cloud not so great
The staffs are really friendly and helpful. I arrived late at night from the airport, and was apparently overcharged by an evil taxi driver. The reception lady helped me with all my other taxi booking during the next 2 days and the taxi she found for me was really reliable and reasonable. The room is small and basic, but the bed is large and comfortable. The location is perfect. It is right next to a popular fish and chip stand, highly recommended.
Hairdryer is missing in my room 3. No iron so it is not quite standard for a business trip if you need to look sharp in shirts..
Breakfast very good and breakfast manager excellent as was the location.
Costing regime was different to that quoted by booking.com so we ended up paying a bit more as they charge more for a Saturday night than they do for a Friday night. Several items loose or missing in the room too. Can see why it is no longer a premier inn.
Very comfortable Inn. Beds were great. Best place to be in the village. Nice restaurant. Nice people. A very typical English country inn with just the right amount of amenities. Alderly Edge is the loveliest English country village. Great pub up the road called The Wizard. A great time for my daughters wedding. Highly recommended!
Location - so much within easy walking distance Friendly staff Easy on-site parking Large bed Quiet room Great value for money, especially in this area
The shower area could do with a bit of tlc - the extractor unit wasn't working and some mould growth on the tile grout, (bathroom otherwise very clean)
Jo, the woman on the front desk, was very friendly and helpful for the duration of the stay. Offering to help print off documents, giving top ups to drinks in the room, and asking how things are. Was a very enjoyable stay.
Does what it says on the tin, no more. I had a good stay.
It's a little tired but clean and for me that's the most important thing.
comfy bed not much else.
just got back to hotel dead on 11 oclock only to be told the bell had rang for last orders. Not amused surely there should be a residants bsr.
Good central location. Very friendly staff at the reception. Confy bed.
The waiter in the morning sorting out the guests for the breakfast doesn't have a clue on how to serve clients. She chases clients to get theirs signature on the bill while they are having their helping themselves at the buffet or while eating their breakfast. Some rooms are a bit noisy because of the street traffic.
