Very comfortable Inn. Beds were great. Best place to be in the village. Nice restaurant. Nice people. A very typical English country inn with just the right amount of amenities. Alderly Edge is the loveliest English country village. Great pub up the road called The Wizard. A great time for my daughters wedding. Highly recommended!
Jo, the woman on the front desk, was very friendly and helpful for the duration of the stay. Offering to help print off documents, giving top ups to drinks in the room, and asking how things are. Was a very enjoyable stay.
Does what it says on the tin, no more. I had a good stay.
It's a little tired but clean and for me that's the most important thing.
comfy bed not much else.
just got back to hotel dead on 11 oclock only to be told the bell had rang for last orders. Not amused surely there should be a residants bsr.
Good central location. Very friendly staff at the reception. Confy bed.
The waiter in the morning sorting out the guests for the breakfast doesn't have a clue on how to serve clients. She chases clients to get theirs signature on the bill while they are having their helping themselves at the buffet or while eating their breakfast. Some rooms are a bit noisy because of the street traffic.
Staff and Location
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The carpets on the stairs were a little worn. Yep, I have get as petty as that for a negative.
The bar area was nice and clean.we had a light meal there and there was no problem with what food we had.. Location was brilliant went for a lovley walk just up the hill plenty to see and do and night time we had a lovley meal down the strip
On arrival we wernt greeted by any receptionist at all untill a bar manager had to step in a while after, who told us it had just changed hands so there was a shortage of staff! I had requested a nice room with a view because it was our anniversary but when we opend the door to our room it hadnt even been cleand! They had to put us in another room at the back . Although quite dissapointed at lack of staff due care and attention its a good location although i dont think we will be staying there again balue isnt good for your money
Location, helpful staff,
Carpets needs changing and repainting all over, both especially in the reception and leading upstairs.
The bar area
There wasn't a wardrobe in the room and the door isn't close properly
That I could not sleep was awake all night and went I told reception all I got was sorry I'm new also breakfast had to be sent back twice uncooked eggs there was no service with a smile Premier inn guarantees a good night sleep or your money back well I never got offered that unsure of why I will not stay in a premier inn again
The food in the pub was good and at very reasonable price.
The noise of the road. Overall the standards should be better for an £85/night hotel
Good bedroom size Comfortable bed and choice of pillows
Bathroom was very small and cramped There was one double socket in the room but only one of the plugs was accessible as the TV was in front of it and could not be moved. There was no mirror over the desk/dressing table.
Close to town centre
Cost for hotel car park rooms cleanliness of room bathroom size of room no A/C
comfy bed excellent staff
Location at end of village.
Far too hot. Noisy fan provided rotated hot air. Only one of three windows opened a little. Broken chair. Complaints met with what do you expect on suck a hot night!
Trust me stay well clear of this place, it was dirty, noisy and hard to find staff. The bathroom was mingin. Nasty carpets filthy walls. Just stay away and save your money.
Comfy beds great location
The bathroom was in need of a new suite and also re-tilling asking flooring was poor we stayed in room 10
The staff were really helpful and kind.
There was no telephone in the rooms and as the corridors were very narrow, you can hear all door opening during the night.
Building run down / poor condition Incredibly expensive for what was provided
I liked that it was a premier inn and you know what you are getting.
The pub attached was poor. Extremely slow service, food average and the whole place was just grubby. It needs a serious re-vamp and I would recommend you avoid it.
V good chef
Very unaware staff eg criticised for coming to breakfast at 9 10, told not served after 9 but we hadn't been told this, wrong meals delivered, bill incorrect by £20,also there is a major problem with locking in the car park whic the manageress is aware of but didn't bother to tell any of the customers, one lady had called the AA out ( some telecom glitch)! All in all quite awful
Breakfast and close to places to eat and was quiet and relaxed.
Polite and helpful staff, cleanliness and facilities.
Small en-suite with old and dodgy fittings, especially to slippery bath! no telephone in room and restricted window ventilation.
