The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. I came to visit family I had not met before, the staff asked me how my reunion went and were genuinely pleased for me. The manager and staff at the Horse and Jockey were equally attentive
My husband had trouble picking up the free Wi Fi
The staff were brilliant and could not do enough for you. Hotel room is a good size, clean and comfortable. 5 minute drive from various shops and restaurants.
The rooms are poorly soundproofed so it was quite noisy at times from people walking past the room. The shower also wasn't great the pressure was very low, even at a cool temperature.
the staff where all very friendly and happy to help
Breakfast was very expensive as it had an "all you can eat lable"
Bed & pillows.
All of it ! Heating didn't work had a portable electric heater ! Sound proofing needs updating, could hear through the paper walls snoring ! TV remote not working properly, and soap dispenser in the sink area empty on arrival. When staying 2 nights and spending more than £80 each night,I expect the bedding to be changed,it wasn't.... Awful pub next door where guests are expected to take breakfast, given the hard sell on checking in. Terrible service and inedible food.Needed a good clean and a complete makeover. I will never return.
Tea-making facilities, comfortable bed.
Dreary location, 10-minute walk into town. Hotel does not have its own bar so dependent on pub next door with normal licensing hours.
the staff were really helpfuland friendly
Breakfast in a pub next to inn that was dingy with very low ceilings. Confusion over booking. I'd booked a family room for myself husband and daughter on arrival the booking was for one adult and two children although only one double bed was made up and only one towel provided which didn't make sense Paid a total of £89 for one night in my experience and opinion well over priced. Would I stay in a Premier Inn again yes would I pay £ 89 no way
Lovely clean room, comfortable beds & all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend The Premier Inn, Aylesbury
Friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff
unfortunately there was a small leak in the bathroom which could not be fixed on a Saturday evening. Towels supplied to mop up and room rental refunded.
Worn furniture, hard bed, no hairdryer in room (only available from reception), complete chaos when fire alarm sounded and restaurant next door wasn't open for breakfast - if we had been informed beforehand we would have cancelled!
The reception staff were excellent!
Sadly breakfast was a big disappointment. Was aware that we arrived just before nine but couldn't cut through the bacon and struggled to slice the sausage. The tomato was not cooked and just served sliced in half and served cold. Mushrooms (tinned) cooked so much they were shrivelled. No crumpets available and the croissants looking very sad.
I don't think you should have to pay for wifi. I travel a fair amount and most places have free wifi now for their valued guests.
The bed was well comfort and very quit place
The internet is poor, the rooms and the toilets smiles abit bad when u enter the room u can smiles it needs fresheners, it's needs phone line to call receiption in case u want some thing not to walk all the way back to receipt ion from yr room like other premiers do have phone line in the rooms plz so that will be very good if u do work on that for yr costumers that's think I did like in but there not there or than hope next time I will be in the net room with out that bad smilley thing in the room apart those few things others were very good thx
Bed comfortable. Staff friendly. Room clean.
Despite having a 'do not disturb' sign on the door the housekeeper knocked and woke us which was very annoying.
Light on in hall that lights up your room all night . And dust bin lorry bleeper going early in morning outside the window
Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable and clean with plenty of bedding. I usually have trouble finding comfortable pillows but they were great. Last year I stayed at the new Travelodge Aylesbury and it was awful - tiny, uncomfortable beds, smelly and terribly poor service. This was a breath of fresh air!
Good location for the reason I was at this location.
Bed to hard
Very friendly staff at reception
food availability poor
We arrived quite late. The receptionist was very helpful, giving us plenty of extra tea bags. Great night's sleep..
The size of the room and the fact that we could control the heating. Clean and smart Premier Inn
Breakfast at the pub next door was a bit hit and miss. Pub very tatty and in need of a massive refurb, shame really as the accommdation is so nice and the pub probably nothing to do with Premier Inn but being next door it does let the whole package down.
Friendly reception at 2.00am and a good night's sleep in a clean, comfortable room before starting work after the Christmas holiday,
Wi-Fi was difficult to access
- cleanness and nice room - very comfy bed - nice and helpful stuff Being part of a hotel chain, you know you will get the good quality you are expecting.
- as we stayed on the ground floor near the stairs, there was some noise when other guests were using the stairs.
clean, comfy and roomy. Just what we needed
Excellent staff at the desk, most well coming & cheerful with good sense of humour too. Lovely to be offered a free breakfast box but the cereal mix not pleasant, probably cheaper to put long life croissant in
Toilet roll placed above & to the back of toilet ... presumably due to change of paper... Slightly uncomfortable bending arm as current muscular problem, not really an issue as used to excellent all round service from Premier Inns.Fire alarm went off while I was in bath ... I was last out as staff were checking the panel so unsure if head count was done! Only after I realised shorter escape but my own fault as I left how I entered!
