Comfortable beds good value for meal deals
Friendy staff. Very comfortable beds and brilliant breakfast.
The prices can fluctuate so much.
Good staff good food and clean
Comfy bed even though we weren't in it for long as flight was 6.45am in morning but room lovely.
All of this hotel
The slow kettle! It seemed to take a lifetime to boil!
Just everything , friendliness of staff and very helpful, ideal spot off the A77. When visiting Ayr I usually stay here for these reasons.
Comfortable bed, adequate size room and helpful staff.
Bigger screen on TV. Adjust sound.
clean good staff
breakfast mad rush
Staff were very helpful. Hotel is spotless. Restaurant likewise and food very good. Next to main road but accoustics were so good, no sound reaches the room.
Minor but they still charge for Wi-fi although it is minimal cost.
Room was clean and comfortable staff were friendly
We were woken at 7am on the Sunday morning by the fire alarm ! -Think room cost at £120 a night was a bit overpriced ( prices were put up as it was Ayr Gold cup). Can stay in same hotel for less than half that price at other times. Friends are booked to stay in that hotel in November for races that are on at Ayr and their room is £40!
Brilliant friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble . The food on all 3 days and nights was of a high quality. Thoroughly recommended from check in to check out.
Lighting was poor for shaving and ladies wishing to apply make up. Clothes hanging would be more easily accessible including forwheelchair users if rail ran across left to right instead of back to front.
Friendly helpful staff Clean Good breakfast
Bed too firm Room smelt a bit Early morning fire alarm
stayed one night but could not get to sleep because of the noisey smokers .sitting and standing below our bedroom window . out there till about 2am . as no phone in room I could not contact reception . other than that a good stay . we stay with premier Inns all over the country and will continue to do so because of there good value for money .
Staff were excellent
Smokers at front door meaning smoke came into our room which was above the front door. We could hear everyone coming in during the night through closed window. Had to wait at least half an hour for ice cream and a pavlova which we left without it appearing. Breakfast- no eggs when my husband went up and he told me to get one while I got mine but the eggs had arrived but no bacon. The two staples of breakfast which should have been replenished without stop.i have been unable to check if my monies have been refunded as receptionist said but the number of faults with our stay was unbelievable. As customers that use other premier inns on at least a monthly basis we were more than disappointed with our stay in Ayr.
The friendliness of the team, very welcoming and even early in the morning the cleaning teams saying good morning and smiling well done
A smell of smoke but as we were above the smoking bins not sure if this was the issue or someone hanging out the windows as the curtains were smelling of smoke
The cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. The tastiness of the evening meal. The willingness of the staff to try to solve the room problems. There were no empty rooms available so we were offered a refund and accepted it. We would recommend you to friends on the basis that the noise problem is dealt with and that it is recognised that the staff need further training
The noisy extractor fan and the very creaky double bed in our room. The disorganisation of the hotel staff. We were told that we were booked in for the meal deal when we arrived but, later in the day, we were told we hadn't booked. At dinner we were served our main course before our starters, which we think had been forgotten about. We resorted to having our starters after our main course to save food being wasted. We were unable to have the desserts we would have liked as there were no meringues and we weren't told this when shown the menu. We were disappointed with breakfast. We asked for a poached egg which came before we began our cereal etc. The croissants weren't fully cooked inside. One of the kitchen staff walked around the dining area dressed in a slovenly way (e.g. His trousers were hanging low at the back showing his underwear, lowering the tone of the hotel.)
Very clean and helpful staff
Everyone was very friendly and helpful...food was good...room was good as usual
Range of prices charged for same room type on same night.
During our stay the elevator was out of order for the 2 nights we were there. Heard from others who were there for a longer stay than us that it was never fixed. Was meant to be repaired in 24 hours! Although we are fit senior citizens there were others who were not so fit and on the third floor. Could have spoilt an otherwise perfect stay for some.
Friendly staff and comfortable, clean rooms
The lift couldn't be called to the ground floor so it would have been nice if when my husband asked for an iron and board a member of staff had helped him carry it up at least to the first floor
Very impressed by the cleanliness and decor of the hotel. The room was great for myself, husband and grandson as a stopover before going to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The beds were so comfy we had a great nights sleep. We are in the restaurant and had the best steak tasted for a long while, it just melted in the mouth. Have recommended the hotel to many people.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable The room was very comfy, warm and well organised The extra pillow was great, and we didn't have to ask for one
We were a bit disappointed with the selection of items ready at the buffet for hot breakfast. No mushrooms or scrambled eggs left, I asked if there were more and was told more was on their way but I had finished my breakfast, toast, coffee and juice and still no fresh mushrooms or scrambled eggs were brought out. Otherwise the food was lovely.
Stayed at the A77 for the above occasion. Convenient for the train to Glasgow - 7 minutes drive to the Station. Good location for exploring the Ayrshire Coast and local attractions - Burns Country etc. Every thing about our stay was excellent - couldn't fault it.
Nothing to complain about.
