The staff were extremely helpful. There was well kept real ale in the bar.

Very pleasant staff.

Basic room and television in a ridiculous position. Object to having to pay for parking and having to cross courtyard to get to the hotel and as a lone traveller would have preferred not to have to eat in a noisy pub.

Location in city centre, transportation is good, nearest shopping centre

I would like to comment about breakfast serving in the Saturday morning 27th April at 9.30am, it's not enough plates, the staff on duty replaced old plates and dirty, I hope it won't be happen again, thanks

I would just like to congratulate all the staff at your Barnsley Hotel for providing a warm friendly proffessional service.We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and the staff couldnt do enough to make our stay so pleasurable. we have travelled extensivly all over the world and never received such a warm welcome and friendly staff.The hotel as a very high standard of cleanliness. Thanks again for a great 2 weeks.

Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Sunday lunch took ages to arrive, despite pre-booking, and when it did arrive the vegatables were awful - some overcooked, some hardly cooked at all - I could not get a fork into some carrot pieces!

The ease of checking in was great. Restaurant on-site was welcome and it seemed to be where all the locals came to eat too! Buzzing place...

Young people coming back to their rooms at 2-3 am shouting their heads off!

The staff were outstanding! We are able to check in early, nothing was a problem and they were more than accommodating with the heavy snow fall. Also the Table Table Restaurant was great with super friendly staff and a fab view!

Staff friendley from arrival to departure. Also helpful we were visiting for a football match, when asked for directions they already had them printed out. Room was clean and comfortable (although only oone bath towel, as two people in the room could do with two towels)
