The staff were very friendly and helpful and at breakfast nothing was too much trouble. We would use this hotel again.
The room was to hot as the air con did not work but there was a fan placed in the room. We think the room was being refurbished which would explain the reason.
No Lifts to second floor
We arrived later than planned due to emptying house as sold & all to container. In of good shower and food. The evening staff supplied extra beverages & towels + hairdryer. Marie in harvester was brilliant in organising my order as only 20mins before kitchen closed, btw food was great, wld return to that branch & stay again at PI thankyou to all staff involved
Kettle didnt work next morning for a cuppa when 1st awake :(
All staff very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. Big breakfast was served promptly and was of very good quality. Decent sized room and bed was very comfortable which led to an excellent nights sleep
Good location, very helpful and enthusiastic reception staff.
The room was not cleaned at all on one day. We had to ask for our breakfast order to be taken. When it was, the ´waiter´said Sir to my husband when he apologised, but then took the order and called him ´mate´ More training is required, try sending him to Buckhurst Hill Premier to observe!
The reception, the bed, the facilities, the cleanliness, the helpfulness and the great breakfast
The smallness of the shower cubicle and the fact that the flow of water did not allow you to soap yourself properly. No mirror above the dressing table. No face flannels
Brilliant nights sleep and the cooked breakfast was lovely (fried eggs done to perfection). Staff very friendly and helpful - we had to change rooms because of disability and nothing was too much trouble.
Although plenty of tea and coffee in room, not nearly enough milk to cater for it.
The area were the Premier Inn is situated was perfect to visit the main town,Basildon and other surrounding areas, You are in the right place to nip to the shops a 5 min walk. The room we had we stayed in for 5 nights with 2 girls aged 4, no road noise at night or day, plenty of room for the 4 of us. Breakfast well order as much as you want didn't believe till tried " Excellent " girls eat free ,staff very help full. Parking plenty of room felt safe leaving car in car park as the car we had was brand new.
The pub over from the inn was not up to the standers of our accommodation.I felt the staff were not as approachable to talk to as the inn.The breakfast we tried there was of a lower quality. The room we had in the inn the only fault i found was there didn't seem to be any extraction fan in the bathroom.
Helpful staff, nice breakfast, comfy clean room, reasonable price.
why is breakfast at the Harvester (next door) about half the price?
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Rooms are very cramped for 2 people
Staff so helpful and friendly
Wish you would make your breakfast a bit cheaper
The friendliness of all staff members & how helpful they were.
Wi-fi should be freely available for the duration of one's stay.An half-hour for free is derisory.
We stayed for 4 days as we were working in Canvey Island. Sammy on reception was great nothing was too much trouble she is a credit to you. Also Steve the chef and his staff were very efficient and pleasant to meet our requirements.
The bed was not made properly for two days I complained and it was put right. Also each day we were only left one bath and hand towel, but once reported to reception it was immediately rectified.
1. Accommodation: Clean, comfortable and nice room layout. 2. Absolutely super breakfast arrangements, facilities and staff.
Room Breakfast Staff
Room was adjacent to main road, a little too noisy for my liking
Lovely quiet rooms. Lenny Henry is right about the comfy beds on the advert. What really impressed me was the dual function bathroom/toilet door. Although my husband and our friend jammed their fingers! Fabulous shower and plenty of storage space.
The fact that I couldn't book a last minute single room cheaper than £88. It was 11pm and my son and I needed a break from Hubby's snoring!!!! Never mind we put up with the snoring instead of shelling out the money!
Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful, made our stay very pleasant.
WARM FRIENDLY WELCOME AFTER A LONG DRIVE.
Staff helpfulness Comfort Facilities Parking
Staff made us feel so welcome even though we had arrived quite early for booking in. Great comfy beds too.
That you're breakfast was much more expensive than the pub next door.
Reception staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast lack off buffet
A warm welcome from a helpful receptionist. An extremely comfortable bed - much needed after a long and tiring day.
