Quiet room as requested Comfy bed Handy location near Brindley Place Breakfast staff cheerful and friendly
Arrived on foot- entrance not well signed from footpath Door locked when I arrived and despite knocking and ringing bell, no-one immediately obvious to let me in. another customer eventually alerted the receptionist who seemed unapologetic - not as warm a welcome as I usually get in your hotels!
Very proffessional staff , good breakfast , lovely staff at breakfast
I loved everything abt this hotel and I would recommend it to anybody, the breakfast was fantastic
Parking was cheap and on site which was brilliant and as we were going to the NIA just a 10mins walk. Location superb!!!
Ideal location as we were going to NIA
Location - near enough to NIA and local bars & restaurants but still quiet enough to have a peaceful night. Good price for parking (only £5 for 24hours)
I thought the breakfast was buffet-style (help yourself) but was only given a standard cooked breakfast -would have preferred to choose a selection separately.
location and pleasant staff
nose from above rooms
It was a quiet central location. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast good.
Our room was very cold when we arrived at 18.30 as our windows were still opened. The electric heater in our room was small and not adequate for a room (family room) of that size. Two children's beds were made up despite having contacted Booking.com to explain there would only be 2 adults staying.
Friendly Staff Lovely Breakfast Great location with lots bars etc close by.
No Facilities in the evening. Go out or go to bed. Lift was broken.
Position within 5 mins walk of ICC. Staff excellent, polite and helpful. Food selection good.
Asked for quiet room, placed above entrance where smokers congregated until late in the night, talking loudly. Breakfast room too small cannot cope with number of residents that wish to have breakfast.
Receptionist was lovely.
We qued for half hour for breakfast, finally got a table,no glasses for juice no mugs for coffee, waited 10minutes to be served for cooked breakfast and still not served.went without breakfast as had a train to catch. Member of staff I complained to was lovely and said I will have a refund, but not had anything yet....
So pleased to find Quorn Sausages at breakfast!!! How sad are we!
comfy bed spacious double room clean shower/ bathroom good location nr centre of the city
£97 without breakfast was a bit steep for a hotel with no bar or residents lounge Lift wasn't working, nor was the drinks dispenser. Only two teabags/ in the room and no phone to call down to reception. View is a carpark. Perfectly acceptable room but there was nothing special to justify this price.
when I complained about the noise above my room I was offered a different room straight away
I woke up to the sound of a couple having sex in the room above. There had already been stomping of shoes on the floor above before and after sleep hours. When I asked at reception, I was told the housekeeping room was above me. When I took my old key card back I heard the staff talking about me in the room behind reception. I was embarrassed by the whole episode and it spoiled my relaxing weekend. The acoustics of the rooms were terrible. I was not offered any money back despite the advert on TV. I was led to believe the receptionist thought it was a lie.
I liked the futuristic purple lighting effect above the bed, the large HD LED TV and the cooked breakfast food.
There was nothing to dislike.
The location was great for our visit to the NIA and the local pubs and restaurants.
We took more than 30 minutes to find the hotel as the address says Broad Street but this is not the case! We would suggest that you give guests clearer directions!
The location is exellent for a night outclose to broad street but far enough away so the noise does effect your nights sleep
The room was over warm even when we turned down the temperature which made sleeping a little hard and the peopl or what ever was above out room was very noisy
Menu states "Croissants always available" - they weren't & cook did not offer to bake any more. Menu states "Thick sliced bread for toast always available" - only thin sliced on offer. Very poor value for money e.g. Continental
Clean & modern.
Trying to find it!
Great location due to us on a night out on broad street, great price
Not overly easy to find from the postcode, charging to park in the car park seemed a bit strange too!
Very warm environment. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was quite warm as air condition was not working.
Excellent service from hotel receptionist, he was extremely helpful, polite and nice to all my family.
Late returning hen party but to be expected really in a city!
No evening meal available. With 2 under 5's it would have been better. Rather than having to find somewhere to eat at 7 o'clock at night.
Location from drayton manor and safari park.
Cooked Breakfast Could have been buffet style. Could hear a lot of walking around but that's just being fussy.
