It was, to be fair, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom door handle broke on the first day, this had clearly already happened as a large splinter of wood was visible above the door handle to the bathroom (Room 32). The screws were clearly not adequate for this door, When I closed the door, I got that stray piece of wood under my fingernail, which caused a small but painful cut. I informed the front desk and was told the issue would be fixed the next day (I wasn't offerered a new room, even though I had two young children with me!).... But it wasn't fixed.... In fact, on the third day (our check out day), when I asked, the lady appeared shocked and said she had moved us from room 32 to room 36 I think she said. This is good, but you should tell your guests as well! (A little note, stop the cards working to force us to the front desk etc..) So we spent two days with no door handle to the bathroom and several wood splinters on show, so myself and my wife were left steering the two children around the room whenever close. It's a shame this was handled so badly, everything else was what you'd expect from a budget hotel.

Family room could do with being larger, and long wait to be served at breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good size rooms, wi-fi working OK (some rooms have poor coverage - recommend checking upon arrival so they can still move you if required). Good location. The rest - as expected from Premier Inn. Would do with some updating.

Surprisingly excellent quality. Room was spacious, very clean, comfortable and quiet. Restaurant also served quite good quality food, good value for money. All staff were friendly. The only poor and disappointing thing was the coffee served at breakfast. They pride themselves in serving Costa coffee but it is served in flasks and so watered down, it was truly awful. This is not a good advert for Costa. The waitress however was excellent when I complained and produced a far superior personally made replacement for me.

Nice room The breakfast on the second day was poor - no butter, no fresh fruit salad. Why because they have run out! The latter yes, the earleir item very bad ordereing. This spoilt the whol weekend as my children do not like marg and were looking forward to the fresh fruit salad.
