Score from 258 reviews Excellent
With free Wi-Fi, free parking and a fine restaurant, this hotel used to be a country club. It is in quiet, rural Hopwood, 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the M42 and well placed for central Birmingham.
Score from 257 reviews Very good
Set in the suburbs of Bournville, this comprehensive business facility provides a peaceful position for your events, yet it is only 15 minutes from vibrant central Birmingham.

Staff friendly Bed and pillows very comfortable Room clean Next door to the restaurant we had a really good breakfast. Service was also excellent
Quiet and comfortable
It was a 10-15 minute walk from the festival we were all attending and was located near shops.
The room keys were actual keys and not cards like they usually are so it was quite inconvenient to carry around
Didn't like the bed, so didn't sleep to good, plus the room up above us had a very creaky floor
Staff were amazing and exceptionally helpful. Food was very good and well worth paying for the breakfast. The rooms were very clean.
The temperature in the rooms was exceptionally hot and we were unable to lower the temperature.
No telephone in room
Food was of decent quality At reasonable prices Very handy for m5 & Cadbury world.
Room linen not 100percent clean Room very hot & stuffy. ElectricFan not sufficient.
Ideal location, plenty of things to do in the area
Not a bad hotel. But not great. The lack of hotels in the area gives them the advantage.
Not a fan of a hotel with security guards.
Comfort and friendly staff
the hotel was to warm no air-condition just fan's that were very noise could not sleep at night.
The choices that we were given and the friendliness of the staff. Joyce Paulton Bristol

Cleanliness and friendly staff
Got what I expected.
Noisy (kids) people in the room above, and the staff not prepared to do anything about it.
Bed and shower were top class
Lack of fridge and air conditioning
Food at the brewers fayre was really poor.
Even though it was on company business the cost is higher than I would have liked to pay
The location is very good, plenty to do pub right next door where u can eat,you have also got resturants across the road where there are ten pinbowling.cinema etc,and a couple of miles down the road u got clent hills where the views are fantastic plenty of walking.
The peaceful and safe environment. The cleanliness of the rooms.
The fact for a family of 5 we have to pay for two rooms and have to split our family in half because of the size of rooms.
The bed was large and so comfortable and this is the most important factor.
The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and 'oppressive', which was a shame as the bath was a good shape.
