It's location is ideal for us.
Cannot think of anything I did not like. If there was anything I would stay at one of the many other places in the area.
The bed cleanliness
A little tired The restaurant serves up pretty awful re-heat food and cold chips
Clean tidy and warm rooms .
The bed was very comfortable; the en-suite was spacious with space to lay out my toiletries/make up. It was handy to have the Brewers Fayre within walking distance and via a covered path. The late check out of noon is handy when you've had a late night.
Our room was a little warmer than we would have liked.
Beds - I always sleep wel at a Premier Inn. Excellent staff nothing was a problem.
Parking places seem small.
Adjoining restaurant for dinner was poor, chips with everything. Good for breakfast though.
Daryl the receptionist great customer service Close to restaraunts and shops
Milk was sour Breakfast really expensive Not good quality for bedding
first rate and great value.
The air conditioning was too noisy, but essential
Rooms were clean with complimentary shower gels etc.... Did forget toothpaste however reception came to the rescue... would stay again if in area
The staff were so helpful and bent over backwards for a big wedding party that we were part of, excellent.
Brewers Fare need more staff and a 'drinks' only counter....I know its not a Premier Inn place but it is a pain queuing for a pint behind people who can't make their mind up what to eat or don't know what table they are sitting at. We had the same problem at Newcastle Holystone the week previous.
Pub next door
Alarm sounding in night
friendly staff and plenty of placed to eat locally
Premier Inn Bishop Auckland is ideally situated for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and mountain biking in Hamsterly Forest and the surrounding North Pennines.
The Brewer's Fayre restaurant was very busy and noisy with limited menu choice and not a very high standard.
Staff were great, really helpful particularly the woman on reception. Room clean and pleasant.
Pillows not very comfortable and room didn't stay very dark as the morning light comes through the top and bottom of the curtains which woke us up early.
Room comfort was impeccable......air con. Pillows, bed, shower.....all perfect!
The bed was very uncomfortable and both of us ended up having backache and neck pain for the next two days.
The staff were lovely and the room was well arranged and so clean.
The staff, the children's play centre in the brewers Fayre.
That premier inn promise the good night guarantee but only have one way to cool the room - opening the window. This, on a busy road, totally compromises the guarantee. Air con wd rectify this.
Location was easy to get to and getting to West Auckland for business was a dream.
An excellent location for exploring the beautiful North Pennines. Although I was there on business, I have booked an extended stay next visit so that I can see more of the area. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and welcoming.
We chose this hotel because it was near relations we were visiting. Staff very friendly in hotel and the restaurant.
Meals are served in a separate restaurant (not belonging to the hotel)
Plenty of space in rooms
Duvet too heavy
The friendliness and welcome from the staff was second to none, can't be faulted. The restaurant food and staff were great. the room was spacious and excellent value for money, looking forward to staying there again!
The hotel was spotless, and the staff were superb. Food was of a high standard for the type of restaurant. Rooms were pleasant and quiet.
My only really "picky" critic was the smoke detector on the ceiling in my room had a flashing red light which at night was quite bright. The unit if fitted around 180 degrees the other way would have meant the light would not be visible when lying in the bed.
