Staff comfy bed full ensure facility .. Good stay
Children running about in the corridors
Clean, good night's sleep, very hot bath. No problems at all.
At £89 per room it seemed a little pricey
Darryl on reception is an excellent member of staff. All the others were friendly and helpful too.
Comfortable and friendly staff.
Food was not great at the restaurant in the evening. Shame the WiFi has an additional charge.
The hotel was immaculate and the staff-every single one we came into contact with were amazing-nothing was too much trouble. Bed was lovely and comfy! The pub next door was superb-clean and reasonably priced. Just around the corner a huge Sainsburys, Boots and Tescos for any extra bits you need.
Breakfast-overcooked bacon and sausages-but this was rectified.
Pillows Beds Staff Room Size
The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable - very comfortable bed, slept like a log! The lady on reception was lovely, very friendly and welcoming and showed genuine interest in the quality of our stay
Seemed like quite a long way out of Bishop Auckland and is in a strange location on the edge of a sort of businesss park next to wasteland!
Helpful staff attitude. We had had a long journey (190 miles) to get there. The staff could not have been more helpful. The recommended a Meal Deal each night at the local Brewers Fare where food and service were similarly excellent.
Nothing comes to mind!
The friendliness of ALL the staff from booking in to eating next door, everyone had a smile and took time to ask if we were enjoying our time there. Maybe it is a northern thing ? Very close to Locomotion... our reason for the visit.
Carpets starting to look a bit shabby, but as we only walked on them this was not a big deal.
It's location is ideal for us.
Cannot think of anything I did not like. If there was anything I would stay at one of the many other places in the area.
The bed cleanliness
A little tired The restaurant serves up pretty awful re-heat food and cold chips
Clean tidy and warm rooms .
The Hotel was near to our Daughter who lives in High Lands, Bishop Auckland so was convenient for us.
That there is never any £29 rooms available when we want to stay.
The bed was very comfortable; the en-suite was spacious with space to lay out my toiletries/make up. It was handy to have the Brewers Fayre within walking distance and via a covered path. The late check out of noon is handy when you've had a late night.
Our room was a little warmer than we would have liked.
Beds - I always sleep wel at a Premier Inn. Excellent staff nothing was a problem.
Parking places seem small.
Adjoining restaurant for dinner was poor, chips with everything. Good for breakfast though.
Daryl the receptionist great customer service Close to restaraunts and shops
Milk was sour Breakfast really expensive Not good quality for bedding
first rate and great value.
The air conditioning was too noisy, but essential
Rooms were clean with complimentary shower gels etc.... Did forget toothpaste however reception came to the rescue... would stay again if in area
The staff were so helpful and bent over backwards for a big wedding party that we were part of, excellent.
Brewers Fare need more staff and a 'drinks' only counter....I know its not a Premier Inn place but it is a pain queuing for a pint behind people who can't make their mind up what to eat or don't know what table they are sitting at. We had the same problem at Newcastle Holystone the week previous.
Pub next door
Alarm sounding in night
friendly staff and plenty of placed to eat locally
Premier Inn Bishop Auckland is ideally situated for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and mountain biking in Hamsterly Forest and the surrounding North Pennines.
The Brewer's Fayre restaurant was very busy and noisy with limited menu choice and not a very high standard.
Staff were great, really helpful particularly the woman on reception. Room clean and pleasant.
Pillows not very comfortable and room didn't stay very dark as the morning light comes through the top and bottom of the curtains which woke us up early.
Room comfort was impeccable......air con. Pillows, bed, shower.....all perfect!
