“ Our room was on the ground floor so no stairs to climb after a day of shopping!! The room itself was very basic but extremely comfortable and roomy, especially as there was four of us. Liked the free shower gel and hand was, very useful if you forgot wash stuff!! ”

Nice atmosphere; nice breakfast. The room was a bit cold, and the heater didn't appear to work. When I switched it on, it didn't seem to make any difference. &Quot;Blackburn Central" is misleading as the hotel is not in the middle of Blackburn. I had to pay £7 both way in taxi fares to get to the hotel from the train station.

I have stayed at Premier Inn Blackburn Central several times and have consistently found the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are always clean and the location is good for the motorway connection.

It was very convenient in regard to the location as we were attending a wedding. Good value Would have liked a telephone since we are from out of the country and did not have cell phone that would work.

As always the rooms / bed are comfortable, and bathroom clean and all works (good supply of hot water). Attached Brewers Fayre - food is same same same basic out of the freezer. Do not have any of the special buffets - quality is very very poor. I tried "pie night" big mistake, only had left overs ie. Cottage pie had run out of meat so they served me just the topping??? Seemed suprised when I left it, but didn't ask why - I thought it a waste of time trying to explain.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean. Breakfast in the Brewers Fayre which was booked at the same time as the room was extremely disappointing due to having only two people serving approximately 30 to 40 individual tables with people arriving all the time. On the whole I felt really sorry for the two staff who were run ragged, my only criticism of them was when we arrived it was already busy so if we had been informed then that they were short staffed and faced a considerable delay would have given us the option of getting our money back and going elsewhere. Also whilst it was advertised as a buffet breakfast we were informed that our orders would be taken individually and as soon as we were shown to our table. In reality we sat patiently for over twenty minutes and in the end had to ask for our order to be taken. It then took another 20/25 minutes for the food to arrive. We struggled in the meantime even to get a drink as the same the staff were also having to replenish cups, juice etc. Also we were aware that more than one other guest complained about the service and one family walked out whilst we were there. If I stay at the Premier Inn again I will certainly not order the food from this experience.

The fact that it is one of the very few Hotels that caters for young familys given the family room was spacious enough for a double and two single beds for our young boys. The Price suits our budget and the location to the M65 made visiting our family easy to enjoy The location of the Family room ?(102)was directly by the stairwell and Lift plus the entrance to the bar this meant that we were disturbed on a regular up to as late at 0250am and then from 0500 onwards due to the comings and goings of the other guests transiting the stairwell. This meant a distinct lack of sleep for us all. We would, however, consider staying again if the family rooms were to be at the other end of the corridors and perhaps on the ground floor.

We had 3 family rooms for a party of 6 adults and 5 children. The hotel was easy to find, conveniently situated by junction 4 of the M65. The reception was friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms were clean and very comfortable - even with 2 extra beds for the children there was plenty of room. Can't fault anything.

Everything was in order and very well organized The bathroom there was no mat for getting out of the bath , worst of all no grab rail's as the amount of people in the u . k are getting older do you not think that grab rails would be an excellant idea , we found getting in and out very tricky . we did tell them at reception , on leaving they told us we could have asked for a mat mat , too late . the bath it's self wasw very slippery . but we also meant a bath mat for the floor as well. Next time we shall have to ask for a disabled room. [ we had to use a towel ]
