Free breakfast for children Quiet location Public transport into Blackpool Very helpful staff
Everything, food was excellent staff both in the hotel and the restaurant were very helpful and friendly
My room was on the second floor, with no lift it was a bit of a struggle with my case
Staff were very helpful and friendly
The staff and breakfast was excellent, very clean inside and outside, the kids play area was fantastic, the local swimming pool was very clean,
The room was too hot, the location was far from the pleasure beach
The ease at which we booked in. The assistance given by the receptionist. The cleanliness. The size of the room. The layout of the room.
The intense heat in the room prevented us from sleeping, we had a fan but that didn't alleviate the problem. We had a very poor night sleep. The "put up" bed was so uncomfortable neither of my children could sleep in it so I did. It was hard and squeaky!
Do not book a room with a family as the rooms are tiny. Furniture was removed to allow four beds in the room given we had nowhere to store clothes such as underwear.
We complained about a noisy family above us and nothing was done. To give you a flavour of the noise the ceiling light shaked and rattled.
I liked that we were on the ground floor as we had alit if bags/luggage so it was easy to take things to the car every morning. I liked the friendly staff who made it clear they were their to help if we did have any problems.
The room was hot. Air doesn't seem to circulate through the corridors but fans had already been placed in the room and it's obviously an on going problem that the hotel is trying to deal with before you arrive. However, you can't sleep well if there is the constant noise of a fan so perhaps air conditioning units would be better in the long run however I appreciate that would be expensive
Food on morning is awful it cold
Friendly helpful staff Beautifully clean room Lovely pillows Sheet instead of a thick duvet Two fans in the room
The beds - as hard as concrete sadly didn't sleep a wink. If these are the 'special' beds detailed in the brochure in the room I would be utterly amazed. They are appalling. Even my 10 year old daughter couldn't stand up the next morning from awful backache.
tidy clean and comfortable
Very pleasant staff, helpfully rang a taxi, gave directions, and advised on stuff to do.. Bedrooms very clean, travelled with 4 children, used 2 family rooms, two small ones and two teenagers, facilities suitable for all
Very hot, although fans were given and turned on before we got there, it was still very hot...
The Comfortable Beds
Free Wi-Fi in the pub next door but only half hour in the hotel!
we were treated well, the room was ready and v clean. the staff were friendly and helpful.
2 tea bags 2 coffee 2 sugar, I think there should have been more in the room
Clean and comfortable and well located away from main strip but walking distance.
Very clean big room nice evening member of staff
Couldnt pay with CASH without I.D, had not been told this though!! Hard bed, soft pillows :-( told morning member of staff but she wasnt bothered...
The room was very hot, had no air conditioning but did have a tall standing fan but stil the room was very stuffy
clean room comfortable beds
Uncomfortably hot room. Four of us in a family room did not sleep. Room was 28 degrees with the window open and (noisy) fans going. Got refund due to the good night sleep guarantee but sleep deprivation spoilt our stay. Asked to move rooms the second night but was no improvement - this place needs air conditioning! Several other guests complaining of same issue.
Constant noise on both evenings from guests in room above
There was no lifts and we were in a room at the top and very far end of the building
All clean tidy, friendly staff and a warm welcome
Not near to town centre of Blackpool
I booked a room for myself and friend whose mobility is limited. The room was spacious as was the bathroom with a shallow bath and high toilet with rails as seen on the website. Our special request for bedding was accepted graciously.
All fine, the food good, the staff pleasant and helpful.
Staff were excellent
Great location out of the Blackpool hustle and bustle. Tram stop is only 10 mins walk away. Good breakfast plenty of choice.
Nothing to dislike about the hotel but Blackpool has lost its family image at the expense of stag and hen party weekends.
