very helpful staff, great location. hotel and room very clean, a great value for money breakfast
we were staying 2 nights on the first night we were in room 207, a nice room but at approx 6am the boiler to the hotel started up and the noise was enough to keep us awake, however having told the reception they didn't hesitate moving us for our second night to room 203, which was much quieter.
Difficulty with parking
the hotel is clean and tidy and breakfast was lovely
The location of the hotel was just a short walk from the centre. Every morning after breakfast we walked to the beech so that certinaly burned a few calories! And i must say the breakfast was delicious, and my two kids realy enjoyed it too, they just loved the hotel.
Position was excellent being within easy walking distance of the centre of Bournmouth and access to a frequent bus service to Poole.
Uncertainty of a car park being available. Room was too hot.d
The location was really good. Easy to get to pales near by and some walking distance.
Car parking facilities very poor. Not the biggest car park. Our room was quite cramped. Couldn't walk inbetween the beds as they were so close together, the child's put up bed was very uncomfortable and we had a disturbed first nights sleep which has never happened before.
Staff always willing to hear you out.
Waiting staff in restaurant were particularly friendly and helpful.
Food, bed, room cleanliness and staff were very good.
I had to park 8 mins (walking) whilst in the pouring rain and a long journey. I also understand that you have to pay for the parking if you are staying at the hotel.
Cleanliness Bedding 2 additional beds in family room Excellent breakfast Friendly staff Location
Slightly noisy aircon unit Window only opens marginally
Great location, very comfortable beds, good breakfast
Very good service and staff were very helpful,
Nothing not to like.
We stayed 2 nights and loved it. Comfortable clean and friendly. No more needed. And the walk into town is 10 minutes. Great stay.
The Reception Staff were always friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. In the dining room the staff never kept you waiting and were always friendly, Breakfast was always hot, plenty of choice, porridge was the best I had ever tasted.
The fact that other guests still stood outside the main door smoking even though there was a smoking shelter.
loud people in the night, pay for wi-fi, no free carpark
Having to pay for parking when you could get a space Clearly the close proximity to the town centre makes it popular with people going clubbing and returning very late and noisily Would always try to stay at Poole north in preference
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Clean and tidy bathroom with a good shower. The food at the hotel was also good.
The cost of parking at the hotel which wasn't advertised on the Booking.com website. The receptionist at the hotel said this was a common problem with Booking.com
Great staff, they made the most difference, very friendly, helpful and attentive. Served us really well for an overnight trip to sea and air show, thank you.
Morning coffee! Need some decent black filter coffee in the morning please.
polite and friendly staff good food comfortable bed clean and tidy
my wife did not like the vegetarian sausages the space between the double bed and the table was very tight a smaller table in a different position would have been better
PARKING is a serious problem.I waited over an hour in the hope of getting a place. During this time, and indeed all during our stay two vans were parked all day long in the car park, despite a written policy of no vans or trucks. I don't understand the requirement of two hundred characters minimum, to submit my comment
paying for car park
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Clean room, very comfortable bed. Good location, main town only a short walk away (if only they could flatten out that hill for the walk back). Also very easy to find the hotel from the main roads. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
Booked as family room (3 people), but only two towels, two cups, two glasses. Called reception and this was rectified very quickly. However, the next day we had to ask for the extra towel and cups again after the room had been cleaned. Not enough tea/coffee items for 3 people (rectified quickly by calling reception).
The cleanliness and the staff were very friendly
Other customers not respecting other people are staying in the hotel, slamming doors etc
Noisy air con, noisy road outside, noisy upstairs neighbours, no one on reception when I called at 11pm about noise from upstairs.
