The more we stay in Premier Inns, the more we like them. This Inn was no exception, as it is well run and comfortable. It is located behind a quaint, historic pub that has been well known in the area for many years. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is close to everything in Bracknell or a short ride to Ascot or Windsor. It is also within walking distance of the Bracknell rail station for those who wish to go further afield. Our room was large and comfortable with all the conveniences you would expect from a modern hotel. The heating and cooling was easy to adjust, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but it is adjacent to a historic restaurant in the “Beefeater” chain, and there was a special rate for guests. Wi-fi worked fine but is the standard £3 additional charge for 24-hour access.
While the location is good in that respect, it is also next to a double roundabout that can be busy at times and confusing at others. We have been through it many times, but usually from another approach, and on a couple of occasions we had to go around again. Sadly, we had a rather noisy family upstairs who allowed their children to jump off the bed. Normally we would not have heard any room-to room noise, but this was exceptional and displayed a clear lack of parental guidance! The only other problem we experienced was that the pub had to be closed early one of the evenings we were there for kitchen repairs. Again, not the norm for this otherwise satisfactory hotel.
The location is very good, beds are indeed comfortable.
Our room was facing main road, we had to leave window open as fan was far too noisy. For what you get it's too expensive.
Helpful friendly staff.
The shower gel was empty, this should have been checked prior to the room being occupied.
Location was excellent, staff friendly helpful and very kind and understanding. could not ask for better service. very very pleased.
There was nothing that we could fault.
Very clean and friendly stafff
My husband didn't sleep well, pillows too hard and mattress uncomfortable. Disappointing after all the adverts.
Excellent helpful staff on Front Desk at all times.
Room was very hot when we stay - Aug14 - a fan was provided, but air conditioning would have been much better.
Very friendly staff
no air-con, very hot stay
Staff was really good
The Beefeater next door where we went to have an evening meal. After ordering we waited 45 minutes for our combo starter for 2. When we queried the time taken we told it would be 8 minutes 22 minutes later it arrived. We then waited 20 more minutes before our main meal arrived but by this time we were just getting up to leave and pay for what we had. The waitress explained that a chef hadn't turned up and they had a manager cooking instead. If we were informed that delays were possible we would have been happy to wait, but we were constantly being told our food is on it's way. The positive side was, that we told we would not have to pay for the inconvenience we had.
friendly welcome, standard premier inn, no complaints. pub next door is ok too.
Very comfortable Staff very helpful and friendly
Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Very vlose to bus & rail stations, also close to shops & cinema, bowling etc
The weather was v warm when we visited & although fans were provided for the room, the room was v warm & was difficult to sleep in those conditions-air conditioning would have been great
Good rapport and support from staff. Helped a lot with our booking and kept us informed. Good location; a short walk to shops and pub/restaurant on site.
Difficult to keep the room cool in the unusual heat. A bit expensive given services provided.
they did not have a bed guard for the side of the bed which we needed as the child was only 4 also the service in the beefeater was slow
Everything - Premier Inn have just got it right - from the welcome to the goodbye facilities plenty - Staff very helpful Polite - cannot wait to book our return visit. Breakfast fab.
Beefeater next door provided an excellent service. Central location with family orientated activities relatively near by. Perfect location for accessing Legoland Windsor.
A small fridge would have been useful for childrens drinks/food etc.
The rooms were clean and comfortable Ideal location
The price i think was a bit over the top should be at least 20% lower
rooms were clean and staff very helpful
not a lot in the area to do at night (not the hotel's fault)
Really good location for reaching windsor quickly.
Inspite of the advertisement telling us we would get a good nights sleep we did not. Noise from busy road and being warm night could not close window to shut out noise. Bed comfy but pillows not.
Comfortable bed, big TV, very clean and a polite guy on reception.
Losing the football. There was a lot of noisy disappointed fans banging doors and stamping feet in nearby, but hardly the fault of the hotel
This is a small hotel tucked behind beefeater pub at a roundabout near Bracknell. The location for travelling is excellent and is only 5 minutes from the M4. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and quickly checked in. our room for two nights was very good and very quiet. This is an economy hotel but has everything required. A hearty breakfast was served in the beefeater restaurant. All you can eat continental and cooked for £8 and kid u 16 eat free. Great value. Coffee/tea in the room plenty towels and shampoo shower gel. Large bathroom. Good pillows. The staff were professional and friendly. A good experience from a budget hotel doing the simple things very very well.
We arrived quite late, but receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast in the adjacent Beefeater was ample. Ideal stop over location at a good price.
Beefeater staff quite vocal, we can hear everything from the kitchen.........
location and parking.
Bedrooms too hot. Windows that don't fully open.
Location, everything was good except for hard beds.
Can't face another night in the mortuary slab of a bed so will look elsewhere in future, shame.
