The room generally met our expectations from reviews that it was "soulless, featureless, yet surprisingly good". The room was a good size, as was the king size bed and the tv. And the receptionist (unlike the "restaurant" staff) was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our scoring (above) is for the accommodation only. Had we factored in the "restaurant", it would have scored "poor" on every count. Although the room was adequate, no toiletries were provided; only one towel was provided for our double room; the bath was inappropriately narrow (given that the bathroom was designed for people with disabilities); coffee/tea provision was tiresomely mean; and either the heating didn't work, or else the heating system and the instructions were not a proper match. However, our main criticism was with the "restaurant" facilities, which were essentially the next door Beefeater which you had to walk outside to. That was shabby and dirty, and the staff were unwelcoming and indifferent. They were clearly reluctant to serve us when we turned up for dinner in an otherwise almost empty bar area. Dinner wasn't cheap, and nor would it have passed many health or hygiene inspections.

We did appreciate the proximity of the pub & restaurant. We liked the size of the rooms, the comfort of the beds & the fact the windows could be opened .... some with assitance. We appreciated the assistance of all the staff & they were most congenial. The bathtub in the handiacpped is far too narrow & the shower curtain could be moved out further as there is no space to move as the shower curtain sticks to your body .... a bit dangerous.....

On our arrival the receptionist was friendly and extremely helpful, and on our departure she helped us by providing directions to our venue. The room was great everything we needed was provided, and was exremely clean, also very child friendly. The staff attending us in the restaraunt at breakfast were again friendly and helpful.more importantly for me personally, as a grandmother travelling with her grandson, they were extremely good with him and the other families there. The location was good and easy to get to from the motorway. Thankyou for a very pleasant stress free stay, I would definetly stay again and recommend you as a place to stay when visiting Windsor Legoland, and other places of interest in that area.

The staff were brilliant, the hotel was quiet, rooms where excellent. I was also very impressed as I left £90 in my room when leaving the hotel, your reception phoned me 5 times to tell me. The cleaner had handed it in. I had no trouble going back the following day and getting it back. Fantastic service.

Staff were brilliant both with senior member and junior member of the group. Rooms were clean and the hotel has recently been refurbished. Excellent value for money - a hotel we intend to return to the next time we need to go to Legoland/Windsor castle!
