The room was spacious, very clean with a massive comfortable bed. The small touches such as a cotton over sheet if you preferred it to the duvet, a full sized TV, staff that were welcoming and helpful. I cannot fault the experience.
The staff members who checked us in could not have been more polite or friendly. They made us feel like valued customers eveb though we arrived late in the evening. We slept really well and went on to have an excellent visit with friends and family after a great breakfast. Thank you!
the bed the soft pillows the bedding the bathroom
Not hotels fault but following the sat nav turned right as instructed at hotel and found to be going the wrong way on the one way system. Didn't see the sign until it was too late. 2 other family membersdid the same
Staff where very helpful and accoomindating
The room was a little dusty around the bed head
No quibble refund given for disturbance during the night
The brochure says "we always avoid putting single females on ground floor" except if it's the last room!!! So it cannot be always then can it!! Need to change publicity
Overall a pleasant stay with big clean rooms.
The place could do with some air con in summer, the rooms were very stuffy.
Love the bed :-)
There was three irons to use between 50 guests and being on a waiting list when one has a wedding to go to and one can not get to iron their clothes the night before or on the morning of departure is terrible. That would be the only most important thing that a hotel should provid especially in the location that the hotel is in, even if it is cheap irons. I had to mark you down from 100% to 60%. I just expect to have irons in every guest room especially a hotel company of your size.
We like the friendly staff and the breakfast.
The children complain that one of the beds is always very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.
Staff we're kind and helpful
Cups were dirty, no iron in the room, towels were not changed
The standard of facilities and furnishings were fantastic in the room. The staff were very welcoming and the pub food was fine, with plenty of play options for the kids. There was also a fantastic choice of food on offer for breakfast and even my awkward eating daughter managed to get a full belly!
The temperature inside the room! It was 28 degrees! What the hell is wrong with the place if it's that hot? It wasn't a particularly warm night outside, but none of us got a good night's sleep purely because we couldn't stop sweating profusely. There was a fan for us to use in the corner and one window which was open about ten inches, the maximum it would go for security reasons, which is understandable, as it was on the ground floor. However, it severely tarnished what was otherwise a lovely night, but both my kids were affected by it and my son even said how can Lenny Henry say about a good night's sleep guaranteed with it being so hot. Sorry, but we won't be going in Premier Inn again if we have to put up with that. It would be great in the winter, but during one of the warmest summers in recent memory, it was no fun. And even sitting around during the daylight hours with the fan going at full pelt, there was no cooling down.
The pub next door is convenient.
Room is small but clean. We were passing by, just got a night so you kind of tough it out.
Excellently situated for attending wedding food in restaurant was very good staff very friendly and helpful
Good location, ideal if you want a bed for the night with no frills
Room was very hot. We couldn't open the window because it was too noisy. There was a fan in the room but it made little difference. We booked a double room and we're only given 1 towel. The breakfast next door was not great
I was checked in by a lovely man, unfortunately didn't catch his name, but he was very polite and helpful and called me a cab
Nothing really. It was extremely Basic.
No facilities for restaurant. Had to go to pub next door. Long queues for food and drink, no service whatsoever. Although we paid in advance for breakfast we could not face going into the pub to encounter bad service and food. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.no air con working. Just a fan on desk. 2 tea bags only in room. No toilet facilities in reception area. Had to go to pub. Bad experience
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to book again
Family rooms are a bit cramped if you javelin the two single beds up
hotel was fine
long queues for breakfast they were slow cooking no mugs / cups for coffee / tea. one machine that kept breaking down
Good staff, clean rooms. on site facilities.
One of the worst nights sleep ever, do not stay here unless they install air conditioning. The room stat registered 37.5 overnight, and whilst a fan was provided this did little to aid sleep. one for the winter only.
No air conditioning
Excellent sized room for England. Good amenities. Pub with good restaurant on grounds. Plenty of parking. Guest laundry very handy when travelling for extended period.
Room clean a nd comfortable
Noisy roundabout location. Breakfast would ha v e been included if a holiday inn.
Friendliness and helpfulness from the lady on Reception. Clean, comfortable room at an excellent rate.
Couldn't find fault with this hotel at all.
Booked a family room - didn't get one Asked for a morning newspaper - didn't get one.
Very welcoming on arrival, nothing seemed to much trouble, wanted to help and could see it was genuine.
