Nice big clean and tidy room. Very fresh and new looking inside. Kind and helpful staff. The bed was very high and as I am only 5ft2 I feel if I was elderly I would have struggled to get in and out safely. Tea and coffee there was only enough for 1 drink each

The room was very big (being a handicapped room probably explains that) and the bathroom was also spacious. There was a lovely pub next door with a Brewers Fayre eatery so that was nice and the lady who took our reservation was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and informative. My only little gripe was that the spray on the shower was not very strong but we were in a disabled room which may explain it. However, this is a miniscule issue and in no way detracted from a lovely Premier Inn and certainly one of the best I've ever stayed in.

Premier Inn is an established brand, the room facilities are good I rarely give bad reviews of Premier Inns, however I had issues at Braintree. There were not enough staff in the restaurant. It was a busy Monday evening but there was only one person behind the bar. The front of house manager was constantly having to help out behind the bar to serve drinks or take meal payments. I had to wait some considerable time to be shown to my table. The hotel suffers badly with low water pressure, when using the wash basin the hot water barely flowed and the shower was equally poor.

The room was lovely Despite my comments the staff were lovely Did not sleep hardly for the 2 nights I stayed, The noise of the traffic was bad I was surprised that bearing in mind the location of the hotel , it should of had double glazing to cut out the noise, The door of the corridors have self closing mechanism and just slam. You can hear all the coming and goings of guests, so not really good sound proofing. Did not meet my expectations as when you book in, the receptionists state you are guaranteed to get a good night sleep which did not happen.

I liked the hotel it was beautifully clean, i usually judge places on wether i would take my wife to stop there, i would have no qualms in taking her to this hotel, the adjacent resturant provides very nice food with excellent themed nights like 'build your own pie' which is not as messy as it sounds, it is open buffet style as much as you can eat were you can select your pie filling from various choices but not just the usual 'chips' as an accompaniment there is also a large selection of veg, which for someone working away from home is very unusual and much appreciated. For me it was excellent but a work colleague had a room on the side of the hotel facing the main road and didn't sleep well because it was warm and he wanted the window open.
