The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that I met

nice staff went out of way to have porrige ready for 7am on sunday , before our marathon

would have liked a bath

The staff were so friendly and helpfull in providing local bus details and car hire. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed our stay.

the staff were excellent and very attentive to any issues raised . we were a large family party for a wedding locally and the staff could not have been more friendly . this includes the receptionist Avis who went the extra mile trying to locate missing guests who had mistakenly booked into the holiday inn ! the houskeeping staff ensured all our rooms were ready early , and the breakfast was just fabulous the whole experience with your team made our day complete . well done and congratulations to your fantastic team at the freeport I will be telling my friends about this stay. big thanks from all our family.

The facility is nicer than the other Braintree site by being smaller, quieter and friendlier. Food was good at breakfast time.

Some times it was cold but helped by the additional heater

Rooms and bed seems smaller than other prem inns, NO BATH. Bath room reminded us of an IBIS and that's not good. Cook could not even boil an egg, quite literally.

All staff were helpful and curteous, particularly Avis. The room was very clean and had all modern amenities. The hotels apprearance looked like it was taken care of inside and out.

The shower in the room was very very poor and completely let the room down. This needs to be addressed bearing in mind there is no bath in the room.

We were staying as on route to a funeral. Staff very friendly and considerate of how we were feeling. Supplied iron and board for us to use! Fabulous, hope to stay again under better circumstances.

No phone in room I would think this could be a problem for some people

Usually find the premier inn really good,however on this one occasion we were checked into a room that had not been cleaned after the last visitors felt rather sick as we seemed to discover bits that made us realise it had been used like the bed had been slept in. Also have been there since september more than 3 times you advertise that there could be a free visit and it is automatic but no one on reception knows anything about it or have the offer on hand to give us .feel cheated you offer it and we are told different stories like it is an automatic subscription once you are on on line or you have to register and we have not been able to access it or register so it makes a mockery of the whole deal really. Thank you.

Bed was too hard. More selection of soap in the Shower.

they was extremely helpful as my partner and i just got engaged, and we was going to our engagement party and that they let, a lovely women who does hair and make up come to the room

having to take of the cardboard on the poillows, and that the swipe card has to be in the electricity point at all times this was a right pain

Friendly staff very reasonable extremely clean, breakfast was so good for value with very helpful staff nothing too much for them. This is the best premier we have ever stayed at. A credit to the chain real value for money. We were a group of 8 and all expressed the view that this was exceptional good value. Breakfast time was not rushed sit as long as we wanted and help ourselves to as much we wanted. A real gem Thank you to all the staff for their very very good service

it had no lifts, the heating keeped cutting off and no water pressure so no shower or use of sink.

it was lovely close to where we wanted to be staff were friendly and food was lovely
