This luxurious 16th century converted farmhouse retains its original character with beamed ceilings and stone walls.
Score from 74 reviews Very good
Great location, staff couldn't be more helpful.
Baby crying in the next room all night
Triple glazed windows cuts out most of the noise. Standard Premier Inn Room.
Parking is shared with Harvester next door and as usual there are never enough spaces. Breakfast staff need more training on clearing the plates and keeping items topped up. Would be better if you could book at the Harvester next door but you can't. Harvester seems to have a cheaper breakfast than Premier Inn.
Wonderful warm welcome, very helpful. Extremely clean rooms. Very comfortable nights sleep.
Although very enjoyable breakfast, felt it was a little expensive.
Great location and everything you expect from a Premier Inn. Staff friendly and helpful
The Harvester next door was awful. Really slow service. Not the fault of Premier Inn though so feel a bit mean mentioning it!! Only 1 tea bag in room but they were happy to replenish. Other than that a great little hotel.
The room was clean and fairly spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was a good breakfast selection.
From the website I thought there was a bar and restaurant. They are adjacent to the hotel and are part of The Harvester chain. The room I was in had shower only and no phone.
All above comments very good and would recomend and use again
Harvester was closed for refurb. Essential I agree with because places do have to close for refurb.
Costa coffee with breakfast a nice touch.
Friendly helpful staff, very clean throughout, comfy bed, great food and great value for money.
We were quite satisfied . Room was clean and brekfast was nice. It's good value for your money.
The room was very basic.
Location is brilliant if you like designer shops. Plus its a bonus if you want to visit the seaside as it is only about 10 -15 mins away by car
Sadly the harvester next door was under refurbishment when we went so had to find another place to eat which was about 10 mins away in bridgend town
Facilities for someone with disability
Nothing I can remember
The room was so comfy The breakfast was fresh and delicious location was stop on and next to a shopping centre which was extremely helpful
Average Hotel, good location due to having a nice designers outlet next to it.
- The toilet was stinking - The room was at the lower ground, and due to this there was no mobile data reception on my both phones. - The internet was not free (at this daya and age!!!)
Friendly staff and clean facilities.
One very small criticism would be at breakfast time. It was tasty but service was a litlle unorganized.
Staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and adequately equipped for our stay. It was very quiet and the bed was great. Shower room was great with all toiletries on hand. As for the breakfast, it was brilliant- tremendous variety well presented, well cooked and so much. Would definitely recommend this Premier Inn to anyone travelling around the Bridgend area.
Having to come home!!!
the comfort of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff
Parking was a bit tight. my wife is disables and we had problems one evening finding a disabled bay as someone had parked across 2 bays having to pay for broadband. this should be free, not just for half an hour
A large car park. A quiet clean room with all facilities. Breakfast in a nice lounge - as much as you wanted !
Directions from the Motorway were not clear. More signs needed ?
Lack of dedicated car parkin A bath would also be of use with a young family
Nothing all very ordinary
Quality of room, cleanliness, breakfast and professionalism of staff very good.
Parking an issue as car park shared with restaurant which was very busy. I was not able to park at the hotel or the restaurant.
Come to this hotel every year, would not go anywhere else. The staff are fantastic, breakfast was good value for money, the rooms/bathroom are clean and tidy, the beds are really comfy! Love this hotel as its in an ideal location for the family - The staff make it extra special, always friendly, helpful and professional - see you next year!
we had a lovely welcome from the lady on the desk, she was professional, friendly and went out of her way to help. she could see we were struggling for change for the vending machine...she didnt have enough change in her cash box so she took her own money, bought something in order to get change to swap with us. we went out for a meal and got back at gone 10.30pm...she was on the desk at 7.30am still as bright and cheerful as the night before. the nicest receptionist we've come across! hope she gets to read this!
Staff and bed
No shaving electrical charging point in bathroom
All that I rated highly
Premieres are always miles from the local town where they are situated so you have to use the expensive local pub and bistro
