    Nice place, great staff

No taxi easily accessible and extortionate prices for them

Easy to find. Staff were helpful.

A tired and sad Premier Inn, it could do with a good deal of TLC. Linen and towels were clean but decor could do with refurbishing. Breakfast adequate, hot water in themos flasks is not good.

The location of this Inn with the lovely views of the valley was ideal for a summer's evening meal. It is very well located for visiting Cheddar Gorge, and Bristol and is an ideal half way point from London to Cornwall. The rooms that were adapted for the disabled were also good.

It was necessary to go outside in order to access the restaurant.

    Location, setting, views, architecture.

No phone signal (not hotels fault!), free wifi limited to half an hour only.

staff friendly and very helpful; food ok for pub quality

expensive for the facilities, should really have been £20 a night cheaper; noisy in the morning with delivery vans as my room seemed right next door on the ground floor.

Confusion when I arrived on how people where staying in the room I booked 2 adults 1 child and they got me down for one adult one child so ended up paying more money even though it did say 2 adults 1 child on my booking letting they blamed booking.com for the error. So a little unsure about booking with booking.com again incase it happens again.

Staff, facilities and relaxed atmosphere. The location was ideal for my visit

The bed was a little to firm for me and not enough white sugar on the tea tray -that I could have solved by going to reception.

Room charges were returned inder their garantee scheme . Jessica at reception was very helpfull and we would certainly return when we visit the area again.

Room nr 5 was located next to the kitchen extractor fan with all the noice to go with it. The room temperature was far to high .We had a sleepless night with the fan provided by the hotel. Proper aircon would solve most problems !!

Staff friendly and attentive, food was good. Views from terrace very lovely. Asked for a quiet room and that was provided.

The fact that wifi was only free for 30 minutes a day. These days it should be provided free for as long as required. My friend attempted to pay £3.00 for 24 hours but was charged three times (£9). Next time an alternative location will be found.

We liked the country feel to this place, our room was very comfortable and spacious and the fact that new carpet was laid (in the dining area) overnight and we didn't hear a thing even though the route to the skip was just below our room

The fact that there was no telephone in the room - how bizarre!! Also snacks that are advertised on the Brewers Fayre are not available at the week-end.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - they were fantastic. We were put in a "quiet" part of the hotel as a family with young children and the view from the room was amazing. Fantastic breakfast the next morning at the Brewers Fayre.

I had to borrow an iron - there wasn't one in the room.

The man on reception was exceptionally welcoming and informative. Bed was lovely and comfy. Nothing to fault really.

Served its purpose and was a great stop over.

Position of Hotel Dining room was bright and sunny, good value in the Bar and staff were very helpful

Rooms in need of a little more attention. But no worse than any other Premier inn. We had a large party for breakfast on the Sunday booked for 10am, it would have been a nice thought if someone mentioned coffee would be finished at 11am. instead some of our party were left without a drink. We had all travelled long distances to visit family celebrating their Diamond Anniversary husband is sick and really did not want us all back to their small house but had not alternative other than spending another 12 x coffee price.

Liked the staff who were lovely.

The place is rather run down and in reception and the restaurant there was a smell of old cooking oil.
