Score from 663 reviews Good
Location was perfect for the airport and would have been quiet from the road, we just had a problem with drunk guests shouting in the early hours and vomiting loudly in the room next door. Premier can't do much about that though.
The room and mainly bathroom could have been cleaner. Hairs in the bed and bathroom tiles were splashed with toothpaste. It's a lot of money considering we were only there for 8 hours. I would have expected the rooms to be immaculate and a well stocked tea and coffee pot for the money.
Had a lovely welcome from Sue on reception who then told us an alternative route to exit from the following morning, that would reduce the time in getting our suitcases from the room to the car. Really liked having the Brewers Fayre on site for a good meal at reasonable prices. Only a 15 min drive from the airport and even on the same road, which is useful, and no airport noises either.
A sign a little bit before you reach the hotel would have been useful. The sign at the entrance is big enough, but only if you know to slow down before hand!
Close to Bristol Airport Brewers Fayre on site
Cold room: air con was intermittent Bizarre layout of the room meaning we had to go up and down several sets of stairs even though we were on the ground floor
Location and very quiet room. Really helpful receptionist who showed us where to park and an easy route to the room.
Easy to find, good shower.
room was damp and smelt damp. Was freezing cold as it was situated in the extension. We also requested a double bed by phone call twice and said of how a previous stay at a travelodge resulted in 2 single beds joined together. This was what happened again here. There was 1 teabag and no phone to call reception or network coverage so this meant another long walk. Used toilet rolls ( quarter roll left on both supplied ). Also the beds were extremely load with very slight movements.
The hotel & Staff were very good.
Location was great for what we wanted -quietness but close to local amenities such as Cheddar Gorge and Weston super mare. The staff cannot be faulted - polite, informative and very helpful. It was great having a restaurant on site as it meant we did not have to go looking for meals unless we wanted to. Will come again! We were given free wifi access our first night as there was a slight technical hitch which I felt was a really nice gesture.
Not really a moan or complaint but the mobile phone reception wasn't great at times.
Good food, actual and choice.
Premises looking a bit tired with signs of damp in places.
Comfortable beds, quiet
all staff - Hotel and restaurant
Staff attitudes excellent, very pleasant. nothing was to much trouble
Tired furniture and surroundings ( varnished doors and furniture but clean. Hotel with good potential just needs to be refurbished.
Convenience and helpful staff
Lack of lift
Staff were great as always Food was good as always
Strong Damp smell in bedroom Towels were damp Rat walked along patio as we were eating in conservatory. No toilet paper in W/C Bed extremely noisy Little tea or coffee in room No point having 24hr reception if no phone in bedroom so I had to walk to reception with bad knee
Friendly staff, good food and beautiful surroundings.
Leaving to come back to work!
Staff were friendly and helpful
Size of family room - good. Clean and good quality linen, towels, etc. The room had recently fitted air-con which is a bonus. Didn't expect much from the Brewers Fayre pub attached as we are not fans of 'chain' pubs but we were pleasantly surprised by the food - it was pretty good and the staff were really friendly there.
The 'put you up' bed (sofa bed) for our 11 yr old son was awful - hard, the springs clanked and he was so uncomfortable that he spent most of the night in the main bed with us! The bathroom was clean but smelt of urine. The outer hallway was musty. It needs refurbishment.
Nice place, great staff
No taxi easily accessible and extortionate prices for them
Extremely personable and friendly receptionist. She certainly went out of her way - rare these days - to help and advise. Because of her excellent manner, will certainly use again if ever flying from Bristol airport. And the view from the verandah was wonderful.
Poor phone reception, but that's not the hotel's fault.
Easy to find. Staff were helpful.
A tired and sad Premier Inn, it could do with a good deal of TLC. Linen and towels were clean but decor could do with refurbishing. Breakfast adequate, hot water in themos flasks is not good.
The location of this Inn with the lovely views of the valley was ideal for a summer's evening meal. It is very well located for visiting Cheddar Gorge, and Bristol and is an ideal half way point from London to Cornwall. The rooms that were adapted for the disabled were also good.
It was necessary to go outside in order to access the restaurant.
Location, setting, views, architecture.
No phone signal (not hotels fault!), free wifi limited to half an hour only.
staff friendly and very helpful; food ok for pub quality
expensive for the facilities, should really have been £20 a night cheaper; noisy in the morning with delivery vans as my room seemed right next door on the ground floor.
Confusion when I arrived on how people where staying in the room I booked 2 adults 1 child and they got me down for one adult one child so ended up paying more money even though it did say 2 adults 1 child on my booking letting they blamed booking.com for the error. So a little unsure about booking with booking.com again incase it happens again.
Exceptional staff fri, sat, sun, mon in premier part.
Not all staff in the brewers fayre were as accomodating as premier inn.
