Room too hot, no sleep. Fire door noisy and bed uncomfortable.
Some staff is very helpful
The laundry for donation! The laundry returned unwashed!
Cheerful, helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
Bedrooms could do with some updating, but clean
Not enough free time on wi fi, 30 mins is a bit of a joke!
I thought the breakfast was especially good and wonderfully laid out. Staff excellent and helpful
The adjacent Inn was ideal eating arrangement for us as we didn't have time to look elsewhere. Quality of food first class.
The staff were very friendly, the room was large and the bed was comfortable.
The room was too warm without air conditioning. The location is not especially good if you're travelling by public transport.
I loved the en suite and the bed was comfy also loved the fact of spare pillows and there was a cooler sheet option, great overall
Needed more milk for coffees
Lovely polite staff. Good central location. Nice pleasant surroundings.
There is no air conditioning in the hotel. A little desk fan was supplied, however as the temperatures were very high this was waste time. Unable to open window more than 2". Hotel could benefit with Air Conditioning in each room.
Size of the room and bed plus the tasty breakfast.
Only one bath towel in the room.
Loved the breakfast. Canal side location. Staff where extremely helpful and friendly
staff was very unhelpful, would not accept Scottish cash as payment for room.
Stayed here many times. As always, great service, staff are lovely and the breakfast is yummy and plentiful. Well done.
The staff where excellent and the hotel was very good with everything you would require in a hotel of this standard
The room did exactly what it said on the tin.
The position was great. Lovely surroundings with canal and the park. Easy to find and very quiet even though it is near the main road. Lovely staff, use of nearby pub for food - also very good.
rooms are noisy and dated.
The Brewers Fayre evening meal was poor. Cleanliness was poor. Would not recommend eating there.
Choice of pillows
Would prefer a choice of bed covers. Duvet too hot.
Friendly staff. I liked all the safety bars and emergency cords placed around the room and bathroom.
The fact that there was no phone in the room and if I had needed anything I would have had to go to the reception desk.
It was clean. The staff were cheerful and polite. Nice quiet area.
The bed. The mattress was too hard and the sheets made us sweat
Bed had a bump
The food at the Brewwers Fair was disgusting, complained but to no avail
Tired and dated plain boring room,
It was close to the Leeds-Liverpool canal which we were walking. There was a Chef and Brewer on site so we could eat and drink before bed.
