Price of breakfast
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Food was superb as was the general atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area.
Trams were very noisy! Bed not as comfy as expected and didnt appreciate having to pay for parking for the weekend.
Friendly helpful staff. Felt very secure and good quality of food and cleaniless.
Good food, location, very clean hotel and the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful... Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
liked the central location & the breakfast
they have a very sensitive fire alarm which went off 4 times within 15 mins early on boxing day .. went down to breakfast in the lift to find a steel shutter no exit.. no towels in the room on arrival & uncomfortable pillows.
location near market and shops
the food did nt have a healty range bed was not comfort bar was not open to 5 o clock when we came down for a drink after shoppinglo
For us, visiting family in the area, the location is great. Price is still competitive, but we are beginning to appreciate that value is more important than price. One good thing that that remained - the bar and restaurant staff were as pleasant and helpful as always.
We have stayed here 3 times previously and have always rated the experience highly, with no real downsides. On this last visit the following was different (worse): 1) On arrival the receptionist seemed distracted, which was evidenced later on checkout when we found out on checkout we should have been told our car park ticket should be validated for use to gain a discount. As we were staying multiple nights we took the car in & out of the car park several times at full price. At checkout we received what can best be described as a "throw away" apology, delivered over the shoulder of the retreating receptionist as she went to do something else - no eye contact, no sincerity. 2) We were enjoying a quiet drink in the bar area when somebody began to use a fruit machine in the corner. It sounded as though World War 3 had broken out. The sound effects were incredibly loud. They were so bad we had to leave the bar and go to our room. 3) There is a snack and drink dispenser in the foyer. We prefer bottled water in our room, which is normally available from this machine. It was out of order on our arrival, and still out of order when we left 2 days later.
Hotel is just off the town centre, I arrived by Metro and could walk there in 5 minutes. There is a bar and restaurant onsite but it is a short easy walk into town centre for a night out.
Slight noise from aircom in other rooms
convenient location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, clean.
very small for a family of 4
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
There was a tram line outside near the window which made alot of noise every time a tram went pass so in checked out the same evening.
Parking was a hassle
It took almost 10 minutes to get into the hotel. The night staff were not available during this period and then they both appeared together ! On leaving the hotel there was nobody available in reception to check us out and stamp the car park pass. Staff from the bar area eventually found the reception staff.
The food was great, staff excellent and we stayed new year s eve expecting a noisy night.never heard a thing the advert really lives up to its name. Highly recommend it to everyone
The staff are always friendly. Breakfast is very good, staff always offer items not on the buffet. Rooms are clean and warm, very comfy beds. Covered parking at £5 per 24 hours
paying for parking, however it is covered.
All things nice
I liked the warm welcome of the staff and their readiness to give advice. The restaurant is welcoming enough to spare you going out for food on a cold night.
I would have light a small wardrobe in my room to keep coas out of sight in winter.
The staff were lovely and helpful Breakfast was ok
The baron scary poorly signposted car park. Ambiguity of parking Should not have to pay for wifi No fresh fruit at breakfast
The hotel is ideally situated to attend Bury Market. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with the hotel very clean modern and comfortable.
Friendly staff, and a good location, near the main metro and bus station.
The room service is some what slow, they might need to increase the number of cleaning staff.
It's was a friendly safe place for lady travellers ...
Why do premier charge for there wifi ... If most cafés offer it for free then so should hotels ... Part from that it's pretty perfect ...
Everything from he cleanliness of the room/bathroom to the comfort of the bed was brilliant.
I have stayed at many premier Inn's and this one had the worst breakfast!. It tasted awful and we just didn't eat it in the end. Very disappointing.
I have stayed in several Premier Inn up and down the country and enjoyed my stay however, at check in at Bury the receptionist's manner and attitude was abrupt and unhelpful and very matter if fact. The bed was so uncomfy that we were awake most of the night and aches the next day.
Bed was very comfortable .. all reception staff were very nice and helpful during our stay. Food was nice and hotel was very close to the tram station which was very handy.
Staff in the thyme weren't always very good , got forgotten about whilst dining and ignored by some.
Staff courteous and friendly Good location Lovely big room Excellent breakfast Value for money
Double bed pushed together and mattress faulty Right next to train station so noisy Very hot Shower was a mere trickle
