With an Art Deco bar and fine restaurant, The Celtic Royal Hotel features a leisure club and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is situated in Caernarfon centre, just a 10-minute walk from Caernarfon Harbour.
Score from 647 reviews Excellent
With good access to the region's major roads and within easy reach of Bangor and Caenarvon, the hotel offers comfortable, great-value rooms, an on-site restaurant and free parking.
Score from 162 reviews Very good
The Black Boy is a 16th-century inn within Caernarfon's historic town walls. It has good Real Ales, hearty meals, and is an easy walk from the center of town and 13th-century castle.
Score from 533 reviews Wonderful
At the foot of Mount Snowdon, the Royal Victoria Hotel is cradled between Lakes Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peries. Bedrooms have baths and showers and satellite TVs.
Score from 637 reviews Good
Super comfy bed. Great location with lots of free parking a short walk away. Close to the castle and the old city centre.
Seemed to be short staffed for breakfast
Shame it did not have its own car park,or at least a proper drop off point whilst checking in
Good location.Very clean and comfortable We always try to stay in premier inns always same quality and you know what to expect.
All as expected.
All of it
Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay here and we slept really well.. We wanted to take the bed, duvet and pillows home with us .. Lol
We didn't enjoy leaving the bed behind in the hotel
ordered a cot. was not there used tissues under the bed that the kids found while exploring the room. key cards did not work. only one member of staff who could deal with us promptly.
quality of the bed
smell of urine in room
I loved the location and value for money.
That I had to leave.
The convenience of the hotel. The friendly staff.
Odd smell in the bathroom of room 9. Not enough shelving in bathroom .
Location, staff and room.
Car not parked on site
Fiendly and helpful staff. Proximity to town centre. Interesting Location.
Car Parking Facilities could be nearer and offer more "security". Table Table restauant got a bit overloded at prime breakfast and dinner times.
Stuff, room, cleanliness, breakfast - you get all you need and pay only for what you need
Staff were very friendly and helpful! Rooms were very well equipped and comfortable. Location was good - very close to the town. The 'Table,Table' restaurant was conveniently close by and pretty good.
No parking at the hotel itself, so it was either pay at the closest car park across the road or hope to get a space 200 metres away at a free car park.
no staff on desk when i arrived to check in and had to ring the bell for a long time before the staff person made an appearance. he looked like he'd just woken up. it wasn't late either, just after six pm.
Good staff who genuinely wanted our stay to be good.
Nothing bad to say!
It is absurd to serve breakfast in a restaurant outside the hotel with wind and rain most of the year!
Staff were really friendly and helpful. My 3 yr old suffers with really bad eczema and can only have goats milk. Initially I was quite worried because the restaurant is not on site, however the staff were brilliant and they accommodated for my little man. The location of the hotel was brilliant as it was walking distance from Caernarfon castle, perfect for little feet. Snowdonia mountain railway, the lake railway, the aviation museum and the beach were also within easy reach.
The cost of our 2 nights stay was quite pricey considering there was no other facilities on site like swimming pool, sauna, steam room or restaurant.
Lovely staff, very clean
Not enough free internet time,
Location was great fantastic food views brilliant
Had to go out of the premier inn to have breakfast in the restaurant opposite
- Cleanliness - Quiet room - Air conditioning - Excellent continental breakfast
- Only 30 minutes of free Internet and it is very slow
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and we really enjoyed our stay there
No car space to unload bags except for handicapped spaces. we were blown out of it by an elderly man in one of the handicapped spaces who wanted to get out in such a hurry as we were double parked behind him. He would not give us a minute to unload our bags.
Room Bed Shower Location
Absence of a real reception waiting area No washroom/toilet downstairs waiting area Rooms have balconies where you cannot go No view from Hotel window, feels like a jail sometimes
Beautiful surroundings, and very friendly helpful staff, very good location.
Double bed was a bit too firm and would have liked more windows in the room which only had 1 small one. Table table the restaurant which adjoins the hotel was not so good but our complaints were dealt with.
