Located in the Cornish fishing port of Portreath, Cliff House is less than a minute's walk from the historic harbour. Popular with holidaymakers and surfers, the beach is just a 5-minute walk away.

Handy location. Friendly, helpful staff. Good restaurant attached. Spacious room and very comfortable. Plenty of parking.
Would have appreciated having an elevator as we had heavy bags to carry upstairs.
everything from the welcome on arrival to leaving. made very welcome and treated like royalty
Staff are really nice and very kind, food next door is fantastic. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Very clean and comfortable
The staff in the restaurant were very unhelpful and would not recommend eating there!!
The staff were wonderful, and very apologetic when the fire alarm went off at 11.30pm...good to know its all working.
Very helpful and friendly staff, able to help at any given hour of the day or night. The rooms are very modern and comfortable and offered a free wifi service also which was a great help to me. The location is situated 5 minutes walking distance from the town so access was easy to and from. And when the night is over a nice peaceful area to come bk to and relax.
Good value and clean newer room.
Everything was fine. Still a little pricy for what you get compared to travel in USA.
Distance from town centre
Very good room. Pleasant staff. Really good attached restaurant "Table Table." It was very quiet and dark. Shower was positively American in its powerfulness.
Would like a mirror over the table. Free trial wifi did not connect. Also, I object to paying for wifi these days.
The comfortable bed Clean accommodation, well maintained We like Premier Inns and always try to stay in them. We stayed in the Hotel Bodmin 7 days before and everything was fine.
No lift! We had to carry large, heavy cases up to our rooms. Restaurant outside with a windy walk-through for us. High cost of our two rooms, taking into consideration the two points above! The evening meal for two of us (four in party) was very overcooked and we had to wait a long time for this main course. The breakfast order was completely wrong for three of us and had to be corrected back in the kitchen. We had to wait for the hot water for drinks as a replacement jug didn't arrive for at least 10 minutes. There was only one hand towel in each of our two rooms!
Easy access to main A30. On our first night staff team in nearby restaurant were good.
Our bed was not of the quality, that we expected. On our second night restaurant team not too good.
well placed for our journey to penzance from bristal
very uncomforable bed and cold poorly cooked food in the restuarant
The young woman on reception was excellent.
If I had known that I would have to sleep in a room where it was impossible to open the windows and had air conditioning with a perpetual noise I would not have stayed in the hotel. I finally figured out how to turn off the aircon but the room was stuffy as a result and I slept badly. What is wrong with fresh air?
Not a very comfortable bed.
Staff were friendly
Air con kept me awake
There is no hand shower, otherwise it's good
pleasant staff, cleanliness
not much, I would have to struggle hard to find a complaint
The whole package was excellent, from how it was sited, ample car parking, the staff, the room, the cleanliness and the food served at Table Table plus how pleasant their staff were.
Nothing was to dislike.
very pleased with all aspects of the inn, were down in cornwall for friends 50th and a large amount of people who came stayed at the inn. Lovely weekend had by all
Good facilities, friendly helpful staff, ample parking.
Having to pay for the faster internet connection. Having to pay for EACH device in the room in this day and age was nothing more than a rip off.
We stay at this site regular
Room 17 is a disabled room which had the lowest bed we have ever experiaced at the premier . As my partner has a spine injury and has to ware a spine support at all times, he had to roll out of bed onto the floor and get up using the bed side chair. As the bed was far to low to get up off . The top of the mattress did not touch the bottom of the head board. We were surprised but as it was the last room we got on with it, but I don't think any one in a wheel chair would be able to use this bed.
Most welcoming staff Usual P I benefits - quiet, comfortable, pillow choice- generous parking space-
entrance not easy to identify in heavy traffic air conditioning/sealed windows (ok there's a road outside but it's Cornwall, it does Fresh Holiday Air!)
This is an excellent Premier Inn and is on the A30 mid way down the length of Cornwall so ideal for tourists and business guests. No complaints at all - good clean room with all facilities - nice friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.
The service in the trevisthick Inn next door, which I don't know if is part of the Premier Inn. We went for breakfast and were told it would be about 20 minutes for a cooked breakfast to arrive. The manager did not say, there was no coffee, orange juice, croissants, brown bread, mugs, glasses, bowls, plates.... need I go on? Wont go there again.
