The room was clean and comfortable. The price was good. The breakfast was worth the extra cost.
Parking was limited.
The receptionist (Andy I think his name is) was incredibly polite and helpful. The rooms were warm, clean and comfortable.
The power of the shower was a bit poor which may frustrate over a week, but fine for one or two uses. Didn't see this as anything to complain about, so I'm sure it would have been sorted if I had. You could hear people walking about in the rooms above, but I'm sure they were stepping heavy.
convenient location to all parts of the City and Bay.
The room was nice and very clean (welldone house keeping) :)
We were kept away most of the night from creaky floor boards above. When we finally drifted off 6am there was banging and more creaking above that lasted hours and had us wide awake by then. It happened both nights we were there. I tried to ask reception for another room or if anything could be done but they werent interested. On my leaving day i wanted some money back as i did not have a plesant sleep both nights and the staff failed to help but when i checked out the man at reception was not at all bothered. However i would come again if i didnt feel as ripped off and no attention paid to my little hours of sleep.
The staff refunded the full cost of our stay because of the disturbances overnight.
Location was not very convenient for the city centre
Friendliness of staff Responsiveness of staff Extremely clean facilities
Having our family room being put amongst rooms of hen parties. We were kept up with the giggling. Having said that the staff resolved the noise very quickly
Location, clean nice laid outroom. Breakfast is one of the best meals of the day and it was excellent. Good having the resturant pub next door, would stop again next time we are down that way,
Bed a little on the firm side for me, but minor issue,
Staff great very clean nicerooms
Everything went well and we enjoyed our stay. The walk to the stadium was very do-able.
The cost was so much higher than usual because of the International at the Millennium Stadium. We just had to pay up and look cheerful.
Close to the centre but away from the hussel and bussel at the end of the evening
Value for money
Really need to taxi to city centre long walk along very busy roads
Nice quiet location
Very clean comfortable room with big flat screen, close to cardiff centre, nightlife close but far enough away to be quiet at night.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful
Quite hard to find
Staff were excellant and a pleasent stay
Rooms big and comfortable. 15 mins walk into centre and 20-30 to cardiff bay. Reception gave us a map.
Unfortunately we had a disruption at 4.30am after a group came back after night out. (The hotel is used by stags/hens/party weekends) we did however complain in the morning and had our night refunded as their policy is a good night sleep or your money back.
Cheaper than staying in the city centre, and free parking. The arrangement with brewers fayre next door for breakfast works well. Taxi to the university cost £6, but we got stuck in traffic on the way back, so cost £10. Still cheaper than staying in the city though.
The bed was just a tad firm for my liking, so I didn't sleep well but I am a bit fussy. My daughter (17) slept like a log.
As a place to sleep it was O K and at least it had its own car parking (which I expect of any place at which I stay, without the need to rush out at 7 a m in order to stick a parking ticket on the car)
As a place to eat, its restaurant (Harvester/Brewer's Fare) was rubbish - very poor menu choices and no alternative place to eat nearby
Staff lovely. Very friendly and helpful.
We had the disabled room. Sadly there was a lot of noise from the road, upstairs, plus from the main door adjacent to ours (this was just people coming and going, walking around. Not a party). My money was refunded but we really would have preferred a good nights sleep as we were racing the following day :-(
Excellent premuer inn service apart from no air con and therefore toom was too hot
No air con
extremely helpful and polite staff, close to city centre approx. 5 mins by taxi
My son loved the tv !!!!
Brewers Fayre on the door step was very handy
