The majority of the staff were lovely and friendly. The taxi service provided was excellent. Staff in the pub opposite were friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The night Manager/Porter. He was rude, abrupt and offensive when we re-entered the hotel, after a night out. He was extremely opinionated and very indiscreet on both nights that we stayed there. He warned us that he would be performing night patrols outside our rooms and listening for any noise. This warning was given to us in a rather threatening manner, which is not what you want to hear when you are 2 young ladies travelling on their own.

The on-site dining facilties. Staff (esp Drew) were excellent Cardiff signing could have been better - there were signs when coming off the A48 but the didn't say which PI it was for ! Found ours in the end though without TOO much trouble. Could have been provided with more tea/coffee/milk ?

Comfortable stay, very helpful staff, ample parking Although close to Cardiff Bay area, we tried walking there one evening and it was not fun - very big busy roads and very unfriendly for pedestrians.

Stayed there on a number of occasions now as it is close to local amenities, I use when I am on a night out in Cardiff. The rooms are clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Good check in and check out times.

Room was comfy, location perfect and the food in the pub was good as always. Breakfast is excellent. Staff helpful. I asked for a ground floor room so I didn't have to lug suitcases up the stairs again as that was a pain last time because of no lift. But the TV aerial didn't work on the ground floor unless all the wires were hanging out of the back of the TV, which just looked dangerous and was annoying to have to go and sort out with reception.

Excellent service. Comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Good value for money. Initially put into a room adjacent the busy Ocean Way with noisy heavy lorries passing by. Changed room to much quieter inner room over looking car park.

Designed and run specifically for business travellers. Good location near to all important facilities, Meals all in an outside pub. Meant no room service and had to go into a pub to eat breakfast.

The service was excellent and clean, comfortable rooms, and with the brewers fare on-site restaurant with friendly and attentive service which added to the stay, making it a convenient hotel. nothing we didn't like, but the tv reception was poor on some channels, this would have been a problem if we had children or had to stay in the room for any considerable time. This did not really affect our stay as we were visiting the city, and only watched tv late evening.

Friendly, helpful staff and rooms well equipped for a basic room. Worth getting a full breakfast included in the package as this was very good quality. Parking on site which is very useful. Location is not great - 1/2 hour walk into city centre, or drive to Cardiff Bay. Only the one bar/restuarant near by so you have to drive for eating places or shops. Quite noisy on a busy weekend!

Normal Premier Inn - clean, efficient and firendly staff. Looked for hotel at the last minute so there was very limted choice. Would not otherwise have considered it on account of location and price, however parking was available. A couple of minor complaints - left home in a hurry and forgot shower gel and shampoo - wall mounted dispenser in bathroom was empty. Fancied a cup of coffee before breakfast but electric kettle didn't work. Extractor fan for bathroom didn't work either. Less than delighted overall.
