We found the staff to be very friendly and helpfull the hotel was clean and tidy food good in the on site pub.

Price hike because of the Wales v England rugby match

The staff were all excellent and especially Sara who made us feel very welcome.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They were eager to do everything they could to make my stay a good one. Cooked breakfast at Beefeater was 5star. I loved that it was cooked to order.

Bathroom was tiny. I feel that it would have been better with a walk in shower rather than a bath. I think the room would have been cramped if there were 2of us, but I would still go back there

No set aside tables in Coach & Horses for evening meal for people staying in the Premier Inn, so could not eat in restaurant until after 8:00pm. Music played over loudspeakers at breakfast is totally unsuitable for the majority of clientelle. Electronic drum and bass is not something I want to listen to at 8:00am

A very friendly welcome from the receptionist who did her utmost to help me. When I arrived back too late to eat at the adjacent Beefeater she rang to try to get them to do something for me ( to no avail) and then even looked up local takeaways to find out if there were any options. First Class customer service thank you. Cooked breakfast was ok, again with one good member of staff on duty + a "cook" (food warmer) but again a bit "plastic" for me ( tinned tomatoes, tinned baked beans, pre cooked bacon, plastic sausages and rubbery ancient mushrooms but the poached eggs were good !!

As expected the Beefeater attached was cheaply staffed with no flexibility over food times and with nothing at all to eat after 10.00 pm. The bar person was friendly but not very experienced not knowing what a Courvoisier was ! In the Premier Inn the bathroom was a bit smelly ( drains) and tired and the lighting in the room was really dark but it was clean and comfortable and what I expected for a lower priced stay ( but not a cheap stay !!) The "free" wi-fi was only for 30 minutes and it cost £3 for 24 hours to stay connected

The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We had travelled throughout the night on our way back from our honeymoon and arrived at 11am for the 2012 football match that evening. We were told check in was not until 2pm but when I had explained what had happened and that we were shattered, the staff immediately moved our allocated room to one that had already been vacated by a previous customer and cleaned and gave us the key. We we able to get a few hours sleep before we went out again meaning that we were able to enjoy the lt day of our holiday. For a big company that will have large corporate training programmes, you cannot teach that level of customer care. I would like to thank the reception staff during our stay (Fri 10 Aug) and hope you will recognise them for their exceptional service.

Location - i hadn't appreciated how far away itactually was from Cardiff. It is, infact, closer to Newport.

The staff were friendly and helpfull, handy having pub on doorstep can have drink and not drive. As budget hotel goes value for money

The room was very hot and stuffy would benefit from air conditioning would be a lot more comfortable for sleeping.

It was quiet,and a convenient bus stop into cardiff as we did not wish to use the car

A lovely location and very friendly helpful staff.

We booked the hotel to attend a wedding in Cardiff. The hotel was 18 minutes from the church & 10 minutes from the reception. The hotel was comfortable & friendly. The food in the Beefeter adjacent was good & the combined bed & breakfast was fantastic value for money.

Das Premier Inn hatte einen großen Parkplatz und das Parken war kostenlos. Der Empfangsmitarbeiter war sehr nett bei unserer Anreise und hat uns freundlich willkommen geheißen. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und ruhig und die die Einrichtung wie in anderen Premier Inns geschmackvoll in lila und weiß. Das Badezimmer verfügte über einen Handtuchwärmer, was mir persönlich immer gut gefällt.

Hier und da bräuchte das Zimmer mal wieder etwas Farbe. Die Gardine hing genau auf den Heizkörper, sodass man Angst hatte das sie brennen könnte. Es gab einen Wasserkocher, Aufgusskaffe (Nescafe) sowie Tee und heiße Schokolade auf dem Zimmer, aber die Kaffelöffel waren leider schmutzig.

A little too far from Cardiff. In fact it's closer to Newport.

Very good hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic. The staff at reception were really nice. There was excellent parking.

The bathroom was a little bit small, that's all!

I did not like being in a room with an inter connecting door. It was possible to hear the occupants - parents and child - clearly. This included hearing mobile phone conversations and even credit card details, It was not a good experience.

The staff were very welcoming and helpfull. The room was nice and clean. The food was great in the beefeater infront of the hotel.
