Pull off junction 42 of the M6 to reach this Premier Inn located north of the Lake District and a few miles south of the center of Carlisle.
Score from 126 reviews Excellent
Delivered all I'd expect from a Premier Inn.
Everybody staying in that part of hotel passed by Room 3. Noise not too bad until 3:50am and then it never stopped!!
Convenience to M4 and Lake District.
Only basic amenities in the room. Pay for wi fi. The restaurant only had "all you can eat" breakfast and dinner with kids free. The result was it was packed with kids running about. Not what we wanted. The walk to town was doable, but long, so difficult to step out to another restaurant.
easy to find short walk to the town centre. hotel clean and in the eveing quite.
We arrived before our check in time, I just wanted to see if we was able to park the car there...and I was told our room was ready and we could have our keys straight away..the staff here we're extremely helpful
Nothing not to like...
Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Lots of parking. Easy location for travel.
I didnt know about the sleep well policy when I told reception about awful night I had. The policy of giving a refund for a bad nught is excellent.
Hotel was exactly what we required. Close to the motorway network. Nice room, friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Excellent
HEAT, no air conditioning, room was around 27c at night
Great breakfast, room was very clean.
Temperature of room was to hot & could hear people moving around above at night.
Cleanliness Friendly helpful staff Fairly close proximity to airport for events Plenty of space in the room.
No air conditioning so room was around 25DegC with window shut for children. Pub Restaurant food was average considering price.
Staff was very welcoming Hotel and rooms were very clean Restaurant was great; food was great Plenty of on-site parking
to far out of town
Friendly and helpful staff Fantastic breakfast
If you are looking to stopover for your journey to Scotland then this is a good place to stay in.
Lots of noise coming from the room above.
Good location, friendly staff
Noisy customers running up and down the corridors early in the morning
Check in staff were very helpful, unfortunately no air conditioning meant that the room was 30 degrees at 10pm. Very hard with young children to sleep in conditions like this.
No AC, no way to cool down the room, even the Windows couldn't be opened all the way and the money back guarantee is fake. Don't even bother trying to get your money back. Will not stay there again.
Quiet, good sleep, excellent disabled facility
No fridge in room. UHT milk.
so handy for lakes, north west coast.s.w.scotland.Great breakfast to start the day-relaxing bar & gardens at end of day and good comfortable rooms for quiet night.
You always know what you get with Premier Inn, quality and a great nights sleep.
Very friendly staff.
too nosy bathroom fan on till three am .complained at 1.30 am payment returned in the morniing...
Our elderly disabled parents were made to feel very comfortable and despite being very busy, staff went out of their way to make sure they were happy.
The bathrooms in the disabled rooms have baths not wet rooms. We stayed for one night so this was not too much of an issue but something to be aware of if you are travelling with or are disabled.
It was a handy location for the main road north. Good value breakfast
The noisy bar - world cup night in the evening. We chose to eat elsewhere.
Clean and quiet
Little short on amenities like soap, shampoo, and wash rags.
