I am amazed that such a large hotel chain does not offer free WIFI access & still expects guests to pay for internet acces when you can get it free just about anywhere else. I would choose a different hotel that offered free wifi access as it makes it cheaper & easier to work during my stay. Also, whilst breakfast was good, at £7.50 i thought that it was poor value for money |

The room was comfortable and had all the attributes expected of a budget hotel. The staff were helpful, capable, welcoming and seemed genuiniely interested in the welfare of their customers. The only slight annoyance was the cost of wi-fi connection. Many of the people using the hotel would be business related, getting in touch on line at £5 per hour or £10 for the day seems a bit steep and really could be offered with in the price. |

Ease of finding location, speed of checking in and comfort of the room. Bar meals were also very good and reasonably priced. |

Ample free parking conveniently located to both Carlisle and the M6. The hotel room was comfortable and public areas and restaurant were bright and welcoming. The absence of a passenger lift between floors. |

The staff were very very good one member of staff stands out to us was a young lady called megan not sure if this is spelt right but she was on bar duty when we arrived on sunday afternoon if we had to mark this young lady we would give her 10/10 but we also have to say that any staff in the hotel that we were in contact with were very pleasent and very kind. |

the food was nice and the receptionist at check in was great, friendly and very enthusiastic. The bar service wasn't fantastic, we ordered our drinks and he forgot to pour them whilst serving other people, we were waiting 15 minutes after we ordered and paid for them for them to be poured! we were also told that if we ordered food at the bar they would bring it to our room - that wasn't the case and shouldn't be told by reception that this was possible. we had to collect it - which is fine! |

Hotel was modern and clean. Rooms were big even for a family of 3 or 4 and beds and duvets were better than at home! We were in a room which was furthest away from reception so a long walk but at least it was very quiet at night! |

The food and service in the restaurant was better than expected. Due to the convenient location of the hotel by the motorway there was traffic noise. |
