Staff not informing me or my party, the times of Breakfast. We stayed for a wedding in the venue opposite, to far to walk in heels.The cab firm that was rung by the Inn, was a £10 minimum charge. £5 for driver, £5 for staff perhaps.

Friendly staff and good foodyin the Grange.

Make sure your room faces car park as other side is noisy due to closeness to busy road.

The room was very comfortable and in the most part very clean. We particularly liked the super king bed. We found the staff on reception very friendly and hard working. Breakfast was lovely on the 1st day.

I believe the extractor fan in the bathroom may have been broken as I developed a mild asthma attack after taking a shower. My partner who does not suffer with breathing difficulties also found it quite unbearable in the bathroom. On picking up the telephone to use in the bedroom I found the underside was absolutely filthy and quite clearly harbouring germs. Unfortunately when eating in the restaurant we were let down and had to send our meals back and on their return they were still undercooked. Also we believe we were overcharged but could not check this as the waitress kept our receipt. We also felt a little bullied at breakfast on our second day when the waitress actually followed us around the room pressuring us to make a decision on our cooked breakfast.

The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The Chef & Brewer next door offered excellent food at a very reasonable price.

The girl at reception when we booked in could hardly be bothered to speak to us. The new air con/heating unit did not seem to fulfill either of its functions. We lost the internet for an evening, which has happened to us before at other Premier Inns. Maybe something to look into as we chose Premier Inns partly for the internet conection.

As usual a very spacious and comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous and of good quality. Staff helpful. Access to the wedding venue across the road was ideal.

Even though I arrived on New Year's Day after all the end of year celebrations there was no sense of tiredness about the staff welcome I received. The front desk receptionist, Jade, was friendly and efficient and everything was done very well. My room was clean and warm, well- designed and a good size, not cramped . I slept very well in a most comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and well-presented, everything worked and the breakfast options were plentiful, tasty and filling. The hotel most definitely delivered what the tv commercials promise and for the price paid, was extremely good value for money.

Nothing to say here really, I was very satisfied with the visit and went to my meeting the next day, very relaxed. Anyone considering this hotel should be aware that it is located off a main road about 3 miles from Chelmsford city centre in a rural but peaceful setting. You need a car to get to the shops or other facilities from the hotel, but this was not an issue for me and it doesn't take long to drive into the centre of town.

Very quick and easy check in with friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent value for money.

We had to have a temporary heater in the room as the air conditioning was not working

We have stayed here previously and this is why we chose this again the rooms are spacious the beds are large clean and fresh, we asked for a top sheet for our bed and it was waiting for us on our arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful including housekeeping.

The staff were helpful in shifting us to another room when the heating in our room did not work. The room was clean.

The purple decor. The fact that you have to pay for wifi and need to put in a login and passcode every time you want to access the internet. Facilities and services are limited--there is no bar fridge in the room, for example.

It was close to the location where we visited

Air conditioner did not work, there was a mobile heater which worked but the room was very cold when we arrived. Bath was not clean

Premier Inn was nice & clean Reception Staff were particularly helpful As I had booked room in advance via internet Premier Inn didnt realise I had a breathing problem & couldnt walk very far,( my fault should Have phoned & made Premier aware) Once Reception Staff realised they pulled out all stops & moved our room to one on ground floor 2 rooms away from Reception,well done & great big thank you.

Didnt like the Breakfast thought it was very poor quality food for what was charged £8.25 the hot food selection did not marry up what was advertised on the Menu could have got same Breakfast in Tescos for around quarter of the price.Any one I recommended I would probabley warn them B/fast was over priced
