The receptionist was excellent ,she dealt well when a very rude Austrailian couple kept butting in whilst she was booking us in . She dealt with out specific requirements superbly.

Great location for Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium. Good breakfast served in pub next door so plenty of space. Sainsburys over the road if you need any essentials!

Our room was next to the stairs which were incredibly noisy and right above the exit to the pub/car park so again we got a lot of noise. Not ideal with small children.

Standard Premier Inn quality. It convenient and very reasonable price if you have a car. 30min. free internet access daily (i.e. twice if you connect in the evening and in the morning).

Great value for money, ideal for young family having the pub with park next door.

Didn't have the best night sleep found it to be quite uncomfortable plus the air con was not working or turned off so very stuffy. Although fans were provided they were too noisy.

Bedroom and facilities were clean and comfortable

Distance to Chester was a little too far to walk and therefore public transport was required.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. They had put iced water and glasses on the coffee table for guests to cool off with. The link to the Brewers Fayre adjacent was a good one for us. Evening meal and breakfast and a drink as a package for adults was good value for money.

This was not the fault of the hotel staff and they tried to help by supplying fans but the room temperature was too high. During the early hours of the morning the temp. was 30 degrees. Far too hot for four bodies to sleep well. The windows hardly opened so no air could come in and freshen the room up. Not a good design.

Far too hot in the room even with two fans, need air con in this hot weather

An excellent hotel, we were using it to visit the zoo which was close by, and excellent location, clean rooms and a lovely breakfast.

I think if staff members in the hotel don't like animals being kept in a zoo they should keep there opinions to their selves, especially when speaking paying customers who love them.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and in the main helpful. Breakfast excellent, we went for the half marathon and breakfast was provided early for us all. A little out of town but only £5-£6 for a taxi. Will definitely stay there again

Just one member of the reception team seemed to have no local knowledge at all, her only answer was I don't know!!! Huge shame because the rest of the staff were excellent. I would think that most people staying there would be visitors and if you don't know an answer then maybe you could ask someone else
