Location ideal staff very friendly and helpful
Bed was a bit hard
Breakfast refunded as there was no fruit salad.
No fruit salad on breakfast.
The friendly, courteous staff are a real asset to this hotel, nothing was too much trouble for them. Good size room with tv and bath/ shower, plenty of places to plug things in.
Room was a bit too hot but this was easily remedied using the temperature control.
The location was perfect, walking distance from the train station, shops, bars, restaurants and all the history chester has to offer. Never seen such a clean hotel, everywhere you look, there were staff cleaning right down to dusting the lampshades. The staff were all pleasent and helpful and i would definately stay again and reccomend this hotel to anyone
the fact that the town centre was so easily accessible on foot. good restaurant excellent scrambled egg!
the fact that I couldn't get reserved parking on site until the second day although I had requested it as I was travelling with an elderly friend
Quick sign-in, helpful and friendly welcoming staff, a good breakfast choice - hot because regular top up at the self service was the right amount & all questions answered promptly and with a smile.
Staff at desk chatting to each other at the same time as dealing with us, so they 'lost' a second night's dinner. Door key a bit awkward in trying to use it. Did not like being on lower ground floor at all. Next time I will ask for a higher floor.
all the staff greeted you with a smile and a cheery word
Break fast on the second day The room was clean large double bed and we liked the close proximity to the centre of Chester I would not recommend you buy the evening meal from this premier inn as there are much better choices of restaurants in the town centre
the first morning we arrived at 9.30 am and were told we could have our breakfast cooked to order as we were the one of last couples down for breakfast. Unfortunately all the staff did was put the left overs from the hot plates from earlier breakfast on two plates served this to us the eggs were rubbery and the sausages cold. We were not sure if there was a thermastat in the room as it was very warn but of course the windows didn't open so we could not get any fresh air into the room at the night time. We were intoduced two three different girls on the first evening when we had our eveing meal so we were not sure who was serving our table The evening meal was poor and the drinks were happy hour but we ordered in time and my boyfriend did not get the extra pint he ordered. The girl who took the ordered never came back to us, we got the bill and the lady who was on the till realised after we got our bill that we had not received our happy hour drinks but we had eaten are main meal and pudding by this time.
Lovely clean hotel, room was nice, staff very helpful we used all the teabags and milk so went to ask for some more and they gave us a little bag full. Pillows were lovely and soft, good location just turn right out of the hotel down some steps and you,re on the canal, where there is a lovely indian restaurant also a short walk to the centre.
The lady on reception, Claire, was very welcoming and exceptionally helpful. I was very impressed and will definitley stay here again.
Not only is it great value for money, the location is perfect for people travelling by train and wanting to stay central. Only 3 min walk from the train station and 3 min walk to the city centre. The staff throughout our stay were brilliant, friendly, easy to talk to and ready for a laugh. Food in the restaurant and breakfasts were great value for money and we're absolutely delicious.
Budget price but definitely not a budget experience.
The staff were welcoming and helpful the room was comfortable and very clean. I really enjoyed my stay and intend to go there again next January really looking forward to it. R Palmer. Ireland
Staff Breakfast Location Cleanliness
Our room looked out into the car park and it was noisy one night.
Staff are so friendly. Good value for money and comfortable rooms.
Parking very limited but this is a city centre hotel and public parking nearby.
Really friendly and helpful staff at reception, good bar and restaurant facilities and having a bath was good!
No designated car park and no opening window.
Great location and surprisingly quiet.
The staff were all excellent and friendly and were very helpful suggesting interesting places to visit.
I found the mattress quite hard but I am elderly and have a dodgy back so it was no reflection on the hotel.
2 minutes walk into city centre. Very close to restaurants and bars. What more could you ask for on a city break.
Nothing to dislike
By chance we saw advertised in the lift Meal deal. The food in the restaurant was excellent and so was the staff.
Smiling staff! Our first time in a P. Inn - loved the 'Quiet Zone'
Very good service Proximity to town Clean and well kept
