Score from 157 reviews Excellent
Friendly staff.., lovely room..and exultant check in and out times
Nothing. .but think if stopping in summer months room gets very hot. .but there was a fan
Plenty of coffee etc,Staff very obliging
Water taps in room 60 difficult to operate
The hotel was very convenient, very comfortable and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
Nothing, all was very good.
Very clean , good staff , nice position , good choice of keeping cool , bedding , fan , etc good first experience .
Easy to get to, very comfortable and staff friendly and professional
Trains running right next door
Helpful, cheerful staff Nice clean good-sized room Comfortable bed Big car park
No air conditioning, so we had to have the window open at night which meant we could hear the trains from the railway at the back of the car park. Road layout made access tricky.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Lack of staff at restaurant - or inefficiency. Long queues at bar to order food for example. Salmon salad very mean with the salmon for a main course - especially compared with what we got at Leicester. We should have complained but didn't.
you know what to expect at Premier Inn and they are very comfortable. Kevin on reception is very pleasant and very helpful
not keen on Brewers Fayre pub food
reception very good, room very clean, staff very attentetive
muddy boot marks on the carpet from reception, noisy with the rail traffic,
Easy acess to all areas. Googd services, relaxed atmosphere.
There isn't anything we didn't like.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, very quiet inside and the staff were very friendly and helpful
It was a bit like sleeping in middle of the m1 ,traffic noise was bad after midnight I can't sleep with the window closed and it was a warm night . I know this isn't the hotels fault but next time I will ask for room way from road noise.
The facilities were good and the staff helpful.
It was too hot in the rooms; 28'C with the window open and a fan supplied by the hotel.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
In hot weather no relief unless you have the fan on all night which is very noisy and wasteful on energy. There needs to be a better system for regulating room temperature.
nice sized rooms and windows opened up abit fan good idea on those hot nights
breakfast bacon more on the boiled side rather than crispy
Everything. The hotel was ideally situated for all the places we wanted to visit either North or South of Chesterfield. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the Brewers Fayre restaurant attached to the hotel was so good and the staff so friendly that we ate there each evening of our 6 day stay. The Premier breakfast was excellent.
There was nothing we didn't like but I would like to make one suggestion. I have a dodgy knee and it would have been helpful to have had a vertical handrail at the shower end of the bath to assist getting out.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Being seated right next to the children's soft play area right outside the toilets for our evening meal. Rooms were hot and it was difficult to sleep with two fans blowing all night ( and it wasn't even a particularly hot night).
Linked to the child-friendly pub makes a great help. Staff on reception were excellent putting our little ones at ease and were very welcoming.
Sadly the hotel lacked air-con so there were fans in place in the room. This helped cool the room as they were a good size for the room.
staff very nice and friendly
Staff were helpful and professional. Good breakfast.
The room was incredibly hot, 29 degrees, despite fans and sheets instead of duvets.
Staff customer service, the breakfast and room facilities.
The toilet did not have not have a toilet brush.
The inns are consistently clean and comfortable with good value for money and Chesterfield North was no exception. An improvement might be to provide a wider choice of menu in the restaurant, but overall value for money.
Menu offered narrow range of choice for an evening meal.
Staff very efficient and friendly. Food and staff at the pub were very good.
Train noise. Noise from fans but it was unusually hot weather.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Location good for town centre and main routes accessable.
No air con, but fan was provided although not adequate for temp during the w/end. Bed and pillows not as comfortable as advertise on T.V. Bed needed a topper. Very disappointing.
Enthusiastic greeting, ,helpful, friendly staff
Allocated a room for a disabled person-meant bathroom fittings all too low; bed too low, too small
Nice rooms Excellent breakfast Pleasant staff
No air conditioning Rooms too hot
