Big comfortable bed! Very good breakfast with plenty of choice at the next door restaurant. Very polite staff. Good size, spotlessly clean bathroom
If it's raining, a bit inconvenient to get to breakfast.
The room was very clean, a good size, with very comfortable beds and was ideal for me and my children for an overnight stay.
Our room was located at a fire exit where people where using it as an exit to go outside and smoke until quite late. This meant if we opened the window it was quite noisey and the room soon began to smell of smoke.
Cleanliness and comfort Staff Breakfast
Automatic check in, not user friendly. Key did not work in door. We had to keep going back to reception
All very good and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful.
No soap in the shower.
Poor quality "fish shop" evening meal
After a good nights sleep, have the full breakfast, it was excellent quality, lovely and clean rooms of a good standard of finish, all so lovely reception staff, very helpful.
lots of space,comfortable bed,12o'clock checkout
Brewer's fare restaurant ,very crowded carpark(lots of white vans0
Noise No cooling
Friendly staff, comfy beds and clean
It is very warm, aircon needed
Generally very clean Helpful reception
Toilet was not flushed Checkin machine - prefer personal touch from reception though we did get help
Clean tidy friendly helpful staff
Good food next door
The room was spacious even though it was full (whole family) nice large bathroom & TV. Restaurant was good plenty on offer for children & they eat breakfast for free with adult meals.
No air con. Fan was provided but a little stuffy in the room.
The staff where amazing no matter what time of day, always pleasant and proffessional, they could'nt have been more helpful. The room was also perfect, just stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding, other guests also stayed. Breakfast next door was very good, if not a little overpriced.
The only down side was that the rooms where very hot, there was a little fan but not really enough, however we were having a little heatwave. The door into reception was also noisy it banged each time it closed, perhaps a stronger return bracket good be fitted to slow it down a little, to prevent it from slamming.
Bed was comfortable and room clean. Breakfast good when you get the right one. Staff always approachable and friendly.
Room very hot requiring 2 fans to get a reasonable nights sleep.
Friendly staff on reception Fan in room Clean room
Upon checkout we asked the gentleman on reception if we could extend our checkout time by approx 30 mins as we were at a wedding the night before and needed to go get our car. The gentleman kindly agreed this. At 12.35 once we had got our car I went to the room to get our bags to find a female member of staff leaving our room. I questioned why she was in our room with our bags she stipulated that checkout was at 12 and she could hear the tv on and therefore checked go see if people were in the room and found our bags. I politely informed her the gentleman on reception had extended ours by 30mins. She insinuated that I was lying and had ignored the checkout time. I reiterated that we had been granted permission from man on reception but she said he didn't tell her and that he 'was stupid' comety unprofessional. I attempted to retrieve my bags but my swipe card didn't work she begrudgingly came back once I asked for assistance to enable me access to the room whilst continuing to repeat checkout was at 12. I reported this to the polite helpful gentleman on reception and he apologised professionally on her behalf. I do not expect to be spoken to like this whilst staying away in a hotel. The stay until then was faultless but unfortunately due to this female blonde member of staff I will not be returning to this hotel nor recommending it.
Area.friendly staff and there willingness to help !
No aircon in the rooms ,we had a fan ,but spent two very hot nights without sleep
Very clean. Lovely, friendly, helpfull staff.
Parking . Lack of parent and child slots . Carpark very full of contractor vans taking up more than one space.loading and unloading luggage from far end of carpark with an excited four year old not ideal
Very clean rooms and well decorated.
The bed was to hard so was not a very good nights sleep. Even though the room had a large fan put in it the room was still very hot and stuffy.
No air conditioning, fans provided but obvious noise, unable to open windows for sufficient air flow therefore didn't sleep a wink during stay!
Reception very helpful. Breakfast very good. Dinner menu satisfactory
Mattress was very hard. Not enough ventilation in room. Not able to leave a single light on in bathroom - if all lights off very dark. Fan in bathroom very nloisy.
Easy checkin, parking convenient, staff very friendly
We liked the fact that we didn't have to go far for a decent meal
Our room was situated next to the stairs which meant that we could hear people using the stairwell on their return
