On the edge of Hampshire, Dorset and The New Forest, this charming guest house is in the award-winning village of Highcliffe, 5 minutes from the beach.
Score from 110 reviews Very good
This family-run bed and breakfast is in historic Christchurch, with its old harbor and priory. It has a traditional log fire, and offers open-air dining on its patio or deck during the warmer months.
Score from 373 reviews Excellent
In a quiet part of East Cliff, this clean, friendly hotel is just a short walk from Bournemouth's beaches and town center. It has spacious rooms, a restaurant, a vibrant bar and free parking.
Score from 1347 reviews Very good
This Premier Inn is located in the heart of Highcliffe, within 10 minutes’ walk of Highcliffe Castle and the sandy beach. The centre of Bournemouth is just 8 miles away.
Score from 141 reviews Very good
Just what we needed for a comfortable night but no wastage. Seemed to be aware of environmental impact.
Tea and coffee quantities were a bit small and bed side lights could be a bit bigger.
Breakfast and all the staff..
Staff were very helpful and polite good access friendly warm wellcome restaurant staff did there best at finding something I could eat
Very limited choice for allergy suffers
Easy access from Christchurch
Only two teabags in the room. disabled facilities in the bathroom made a very narrow bath difficult to access would have been impossible for a disabled person. Wet room would have been more suitable
Great location for the Dorset coast and New Forest. Clean and comfortable.
Rooms need air conditioning. It wasn't too warm when we stayed and we needed the fan. It must have been stifling in the summer. Bathroom lacked a shaver point. Plug sockets next to bed please. We all have phones these days.
Everything was provided for a free and easy break with friendly, helpful staff and excellent accommodation.
Staff were excellent in the Restaurant ,Also at reception
Wooden floors to the upstairs bedrooms .Sound transition was loud
beds were soooooo comfy, staff are lovely, breakfast was good.
everything was good, no problems
no shaver point in room
excellent staff, did everything to help,
the room had no air con, the room got to 30 degrees, so hot after to nights of no sleep, we had to move hotels, up the road to a hotel with air con, staff were fantastic in helping us out
Reasonable size room, and good decorative order
Rooms very hot so had to have fan on all night which was noisy. Bathroom tiny, but ok. Only 2 sachets of coffee in room, so you have to choose if you want it in the evening or the following morning!
Allocated room was subject to alot of noise!!!
Staff moved us and we managed to enjoy the rest of our stay. Very helpful staff.
The room and beds were very clean. Shower was good with lots of hot water. Breakfast was excellent with eggs freshley cooked and friendly staff always willing to help.
Would be good to have at least enough coffee, tea, sugar and milk for at least two drinks each. Also it would be good to have a phone in the room to ring reception.
quiet room comfy bed
Room number 10 was very small for 3 people and due to it's location in the corner of the building it was difficult to ventilate it. For the pricey 100 pounds a night would expect a little bit nicer room and bathroom (very tight as well). overall not bad but definatley not worth the price paid.
Good service in restaurant and very good breakfast.
We reported rubbish over the access way at the rear of the property, which was still there when we left 2 hours later. It seemed an animal or bird had attacked the rubbish bin. It was a H&S matter and should have had immediate attention.
Lovely friendly staff
Room too hot
beds staff and food
Lean and tidy spacious
we used this hotel for a quick stop over for one night as we had a local wedding. I was really disappointed and upset that on arriving at 1.10pm, having requested an early check in, that we were not able to check in. Worse still, was that the staff would not even give us a room to quickly change in as the wedding was at 2pm. Thankfully another colleague's room was ready and she offered us that to change in and we made the wedding in time. i think that this response and lack of flexibility from staff was poor and made it very difficult for us. I am unlikely to book with Premier Inn again.
A very comfortable room, helpful and polite staff. The location was close to areas we wanted to visit and only minutes by local bus to Christchurch and sections of the New Forest. The breakfast was excellent (included in our package) and we would return when next in the area.
We couldn't find fault. (Not that we expected to find any). When we requested extra supplies of towels they were quickly supplied. The staff were very keen to know that we were happy with their services. We have stayed with Premier Inns before and always found the standards to be good.
Staff were very helpful, and made are second night more comfortable.
Very hard beds and hot.
Very good night sleep on both nights.Comfy bed and pillows lived upto their publised claims.Staff also very at ease and friendly and demonstrated that they liked their jobs.
Room ,especially bathroom were very hot, though we were staying during very humid weather.
Always like Premiers and although location usually a little off beaten track is always next to a Beefeater or similar which is good. This was no different and suited our needs. Love the beds - usually - but see 'don't likes'! Will always go for Premier first!
Great firm bed but new memory foam toppers far too warm for summer weather. Slept on floor for a couple of hours as bed just too hot - feel the heat generating from underneath - felt like we were sleeping on top of the duvet - and only had sheet on too. Also can never get a £29 room and we use Premier 2-3 times a year!
