The shower was very poor.At first it was broken with water shooting out of the joints NOT THE SHOWER HEAD. In the second day it was repaired but the water force was very poor making it impossible to have a proper shower.

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful when I had a misfortune with my car and they really put themselves out for me when I had to stay another night

To stay for 1-2 nights is great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bath/shower area has lost its way. Being OAP,s there was no hand rail to get hold of when getting into and out of the bath. There was no Slip mat for the bath, which is very unusual. The shower head cannot be moved out of harms way. These items need to be rectified before a.n.other slips etc.

Restaurant reminded me of a famous Monty Python scene: Chips n eggs, Chips n beans, chips n battered chips, chips chips chips n sausages, chips sausage and chips, pump steak n chips... You get the gist ;)

The hotel was very close to the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Sylvia on reception who went to a great deal of trouble to give me directions to the Catholic church. The breakfast and all meals are excellent value for money. The rooms are well equipped having everything you need for your trip.

Attention to detail staff very helpful

I booked for 4 people, 2 arrived an hour before I did due to train times. At reception the 2 early visitors were refused entry to their room because the receptionist said I had not paid. I spoke to reception explained I was approx an hour away but entry to their rooms was still refused for the two early arrivals. In this instance it wasn't that much of a problem they went into the adjacent bar and waited, just over an hour when I arrived & immediately paid for the rooms.

Friendly welcome. Location convenient for the railway station. Proximity to a good eating place. Comfortable room.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Excellent location for our purposes.

Lighting was not great and the pub next door needed a good clean in the breakfast area. There is no excuse for food splattered walls and greasy tables. We elected not to return for breakfast as coffee was disgusting which was most disappointing as a 'Costa' location! Good choice of teas though.

No criticisms.

No films on room tv. Room very hot unable to cool. Food in eve - got served wrong meal and didnt receive refund of difference in price. Breakfast chaotic everything had run out and needed to be replaced. Coffee cold. Ran out of hash browns due to a 'run on them over christmas'?? Christmas wasnt a surprise, and they are frozen - incompetent ordering system.

Clean and easy going. Everyone very helpful.

Excellant value for money

Easy to spot on main road. Restaurant had good service and good food.

Room was far too hot and couldn't adjust temperature.

Design of rooms excellent, and incorporated all we needed. First time we had seen instructions on how to adjust heating, although we did not need to. Staff in reception could not have been better, and were really helpful. In evenings Table Table was very good, with a good menu and quick and well cooked. Again very pleasant and polite staff. Unfortunately the Breakfast meal was about the worst we have been offered for awhile. Staff were pleasant and quick.

Why no pot of tea? Making tea by the cup with an Urn never works as water is not boiling. If you turn to Coffee that had been brewing for too long and tasted awful. The cooked breakfast looked lovely on the menu card, but on arrival it did not look very appetising at all. At the price charged it should have been perfect. We should not need to tell you that the best answer all-round is to have a self selection from the hotplate, which means you get what you want, it is hot and not re-heated or over cooked and curling up. This way there is no waiting, and customers tend to only take what they can eat, so there is less waste. We do not normally fill in comment forms in such detail, but felt so pleased with the staff and everything else. Hope you find the above comments helpful, as you are nearly there. We did have a comfortable stay and the weather was excellant.

We wanted a good nights sleep at a reasonable price before catching our flight from Bournemouth Airport. Our stay was very comfortable and we especially liked the pillows. It also was helpful being able to use the room until midday.

Can't think of any negatives.

It's location to the new forest.

The rooms only had a tiny window that only opened a little bit. Very litte natural air got into the room so it was extremely stuffy and therefore it was difficult to sleep. Cakes were in reception for a charity sale and they were left overnight not covered and flies were surrounding them.

It was within walking distance of the railway station.and an easy location for me to be collected from to attend a funeral.Your male receptionist was brilliant he found out where the nearest florist was [ I had had a four hour journey and it was difficult to bring flowers with me ]and also let me leave my overnight case at the premire inn for me to collect later in the day,thank you .frances clark

It was comfortable with a good size bed and quiet. The attached resfaurant provided a good standard of food at most times of the day and the staff were always helpful.

The shower water supply was defective. Having set the temperature it kept increasing as the water flowed . No air conditioning.
