Comfy bed Clean
not all disabled people are in wheelchairs and their carers aren't either so everything too low in bathroom. Very cold bathroom: didn't appear to have any heating. No long mirror in bedroom or long hanging.....my husband is disabled and 6 foot 2 inches and I am over 5 foot 6 and I had nowhere to hang my dress or coat because the hangers would only hang in the short wardrobe.
The location, 5 mins from Colchester station. Also the staff were friendly and helpful and on call 24 hours a day.
There was noise coming from the fan/ air con. Toilet didn't flush properly.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The air con units on flat roof outside our bedroom window made us feel like we were in a jumbo jet with the engines roaring. No sleep here.
Everyone at hotel was friendly. Also the closeness to town center
Everything beds were excellent
the bed was very comfortable staff very friendly and helpful breakfast was excellent as much as you like and well cooked value for money
Very welcoming reception staff. Nice big room with a very comfortable bed. Good shower and nice bathroom
Very helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space in the room. Good facilities. Would highly recommend this property to anyone on a budget.
Staff (Tracie) was superb. Bed super comfy. Shower perfect.
Cooked breakfast at Beefeater, next door, not very tasty though continental choice was superb & very fresh.
Paying for wifi it is an unecessary charge
Friendly staff clean comfortable room good food
Cleanliness and comfort. Excellent staff and very helpful
Bad news about flush on toilet and would have liked a bath first night but apparentley only invalid room left when i booked online, but staff were excellent and sorted it the next day
Given a disabled room on ground floor which had large wet room, lower bed and sinkI did not request and am a Stroke survivor of nearly 4 years, nurse, successful business woman who leads a great lifestyle therefore do not want to be reminded of when I had to use such facilities....I was informed there were no other room but that was not backed up by staff in the adjoining restaurant. I have stayed in Premier Inn before especially Lockyer Quay Plymouth but this one wasn't a patch on,,,,,very tired needs updating......
Impossible to check in before 1 pm, even though the cleaning staff start at 1030am. Impossible to check out after 12:30pm. Pity sky TV channel not included.
Staff were very welcoming and accommodating, making my stay more pleasant.
Extractor fan was outside my window for the adjoining pub, woke me early.
Good TV in room Beefeater pub restaurant adjoining does a good steak dinner.
No shaver socket in bathroom, or hair dryer in room.
Very friendly staff.
The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The staff in this hotel represents perfect customer service !!!! The location is perfect, very close to the train station.
Helpful staff, willing to help with questions.
Shower head needs updating
Staff. Location. Great night sleep
Food area Can be expensive. No fridge in the room (can be inconvenient in warm weather and for medication that needs refrigeration)
Receptionist was the best, most cheerful and efficient we have ever come across. She had a big smile last thing at night, and again very early next morning.
If anything, then the music during breakfast. Otherwise, excellent.
Professionalism and politeness of staff, especially Mr Barnie at the receptionl
Lack of common reception area
Convenience for Colchester station (10 min walk) and the friendliness of staff. Room was ideal to normal Premier Inn standards.
Only slight quibble is the need to ask for a hairdryer.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was good for Colchester. Room clean and comfortable
Lighting and mirrors not very good if your a woman and need to do your hair and makeup. A mirror under the tv would would be good.
