Score from 401 reviews Very good
Close to the junction of the A13 and the M25 motorway and less than a mile from Lakeside Shopping Centre, the hotel offers great value, with free parking and comfortable en suite rooms.
Score from 463 reviews Good
Ideally situated, Thurrock West Premier Inn is 2 miles (3.2 km) from Lakeside shopping centre and close to Purfleet Train Station, with excellent access to the M25 motorway.
Score from 518 reviews Very good
Very comfy beds. 2 types of pillow. Lovely staff. Nearby lake providing a surprising place for an evening stroll in the shadow of the M25. Quiet room. Very convenient location for the Channel Tunnel.
The meal deal doesn't let you choose the type of drink you have. I think it is odd that you opt for the restricted menu then you can "upgrade " your food but not your drink. Neither of us likes lager or wine but that's all we could have. I wish I had been told that when we were offered the deal.
Staff extremely pleasant and helpful room clean and of good standard Restaurant staff very good
Excellent, friendly and attentive staff on Reception and in the restaurant. Huge room with a very comfy bed. Choice of soft or firm pillows. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Very surprising to find a place for a stroll nearby - a pond with a footpath running all the way round. Right in the shadow of the Queen Elizabeth Bridge we saw ducks, coots, moorhens, grebes and even a kingfisher!
The fact that a meal deal restricts your choice of drink. We didn't know that before we accepted the offer. Odd that you can pay a bit more on the meal deal and "upgrade" your food but you can't do the same with drinks.
Location , quiet, friendly staff
Breakfast was old and dried up
STAFF VERY HELPFUL ROOM VERY COMFORTABLE LOCATION SUITS US BREAKFAST GREAT ADJOINING RESTAURANT EXCELLENT PARKING GREAT
NOT A LOT
Friendly and efficient receptionist, big room and bathroom ( I think we had a "disabled" room), comfortable bed, pleasant staff and good breakfast in the adjoining Beefeater.
Could hear room above early on Sunday morning (need better sound insulation between floors).
Really comfy bed & pillows. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Everything was good from food to room standards. Would book again.
Automated key machines - though there is a person on the desk - but she wasn't there when I checked in
Easy to reach from Dartford centre. No noise from the nearby motorway. All seemed quite peaceful to be fair. Lots of parking and a big restaurant right next door.
The single beds weren't great. Mentioned it to reception who said they'd look into it but no talk of a refund or part refund although that option is advertised all over the place
Polite staff very helpful also . Excellent food and very clean hotel all round .
Perhaps could do with a signpost just off the motorway.
the usual Premier Inn place but great staff really friendly and informative
hard to get to in the traffic
The staff were excellent, really friendly and welcoming. The decor, facilities, restaurant were excellent. Breakfast was great quality.
The AC didn't work great. Apart from that it was my first time at a premier inn and it was a great experience. I will visit again.
The Staff are very, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Credit to your company!
Nothing to not like. An excellent stay in nice quiet comfort. Hottest day of the year, yet room temperature with aircon, perfect.
noisey wooden floors upstairs, creaking every time someone walked across it
Receptionist on around 12 noon was amazing last Thursday. Very well done to her she made us feel so welcome while dealing with a problem on the phone
The staff member on hand the evening of our stay was exceptionally pleasant
Welcome by staff, cleanliness of room, A/C, A pleasant sitting area outside
I was allocated a disabled access room, which I did query. Whilst the room was spacious, sink level was too low, wardrobe hanging space was again too low. I am 5'7'' so clearly low surfaces are a bit of a draw back I was also concerned that I might be taking up a room needed by someone with disabilities.
The staff were really helpful and our room very quiet. The parking spaces undercover were appreciated . The beefeater attached was very handy
The location is very concrete but only to be expected under the dartford crossing
Had a problem with a noisy neighbour. Night's money refunded without quibble.
Floor above our room creaked badly and if there is an inconsiderate person in there stomping about it is awful!
Comfortable beds, friendly welcoming staff, excellent bathroom facilities
Both rooms were wrong. I booked 2 family rooms and somehow premier had two people booked which in itself was ridiculous who would have booked a combination of rooms for 8 people if only two people were coming !!!?? Woman on duty acted like it was my fault even though I showed her my confirmation. Then wouldn't tell us if breakfast was included until after we had paid ( said she couldn't tell until payment had been made. ( as if she couldn't tell before !) then huffed and puffed because she to make beds up. We had then one towel in each room. That was helpful when there were 6 people. Then tried to say we couldn't have breakfast in the morning because only two were paid for. Regardless of the fact that I had paid for potentially 8 people to have breakfast and the 4 girls would have been free anyway. Feel like I was totally had and then tried to make me be grateful for giving my 4 girls breakfast that would have been free anyway. Totally disappointed except for the lovely receptionist in the morning who apologised. The one the night before should be sacked in my opinion, I would not want that sort of service and behaviour to be the first thing my customers see and deal with when they walk in the door !
Friendly and helpful staff in the reception and in the restaurant in the evening
Undercooked poached eggs on three breakfasts
Nice room , good value and an excellent breakfast. Well done Premier Inn
It was very clean.
Nothing to do with the Premier Inn, but as the hotel is located in a new estate your car in-built SatNav will struggle to take you to the front door, unless you have the latest and greatest maps, I recommend using your iPhone to take you the last mile or so.
Friendly and helpful staff
An irritating wi-fi that kept interrupting my laptop use. A smell from the drain in the bathroom.
