Score from 309 reviews Very good
All the staff were very helpful and friendly including bar and Resteraunt staff. The menu and food were very very good. The location of the hotel was very good for my purposes, attending the MotoGP at Silverstone. I feel a little sorry for the staff as they did everything they could to make you feel welcome.
Decor in need of refurbishing in all areas and rooms. The en-suite facility in the rooms were dated and the showers inefficient. TV' s didn't work very well either. Sadly in very much need of bringing up to date. I couldn't recommend until some work to fixtures, fittings and decor updated.
bed where comfy and place was clean generally very happy overall
the room price was slightly high as friends who were also staying managed to get their room alot cheaper
quality of room, service, food were all good
no tray for cups, shaver socket did not work
At 4.30am we could hear some sort of animal scratching in the roof above. At 6.30am the fire alarm sounded for about 30 seconds waking us up, despite no fire and no explanation from staff as to the cause of the alarm or any apology. Drain smells in the bathroom.
Very good beds, very good breakfast
Comfortable, clean beds and friendly staff.
Could hear guests in the above room from us at 6am. Disturbed our sleep.
Comfy bed and pillows, room serviced daily. Friendly and helpful staff. On site restaurant also had friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely book again. Asked for a quiet room which we received, although the sheep weren't keeping the noise down in the morning!!
Bed was comfortable breakfast was good
Attended a family wedding at near by doodford manor anticipating a good nights sleep when startly woken by fire alarm going of at t6am only to find out later that it was steam from a shower .my sister who was staying next door had a blocked toilet and smell wasn't to pleasent. Struggled to get key in the door and only one key per room .the whole place needs up dating .
The rooms were comfortable and clean. The accommodation was perfectly situated for our visit to the British Grand Prix. The crossroads restaurant attached to the premier inn was fantastic the staff were great and the food excellent.
Location to close to major junction, very loud traffic noise, so can't have windows open at night. Very hot rooms. Bathroom too small. Beds very hard, waking up with aches and pains. Television didn't work in the room, so had to watch the main one in a separate TV room. Rooms very dark inside, as there were big trees growing in front of the window, also couldn't see out of the window. Food not that great, but the service was good
the food in the attached pub was nice
the room is in desperate need of refurbishment. arriving back after a day out on Saturday to find the door to our room was left open by the maid. complained to reception, they said they would speak to the manager but I was not approached by the manager to discuss this further.
Lots of parking, easy to find, good choice of breakfast and the cooked breakfast was served lovely and hot, which seems to be a scarce thing! Great view out of our window, looked out over the countryside and a lovely river.
Easy to find location. Friendly staff, rooms were clean & tidy. Very comfortable.
Rooms were very old and in need of refurbishment - several things broken in our room. Staff were friendly but a little disorganised.
As guests at a local wedding the Premier Inn was conveniently situated and provided good basic comfortable accomodation.
In the restaurant for dinner the night we arrived and during breakfast, the staff were attentive, friendly, service was good and the food excellent and good value for money.
The hotel was dated and smelt of mould in reception and in the rooms. The room was clean, apart from a sticky carpet and had the facilities we required but was not of the normal Premier Inn Standard. When we arrived to check in, the receptionist was new and she saw that we had booked through Booking.com. I gave her our confirmation and price which you confirmed in an email to me and she changed the number of children to 1, instead of 2. Then said the price was £82.50 including breakfast, which I then disputed as I had the confirmation from you. She said that Booking.com put the information straight into their system and it was my problem to sort out with you. She then called the duty manager to see what could be done and he was very rude and said that is what the computer says, they have no influence over your bookings and I needed to take it up with you. My husband was getting very annoyed then as we had driven for 4 hours from Devon to get there for his birthday weekend with a trip to Silverstone to be treated like this. I have worked as a manager in hotels for 24 years and know that the customer is always right, however, he insisted I call you to sort it out, which I did at my expense on my mobile, and then it turns out that the new receptionist had affected the reservation by making the alteration to one child and he never even apologised. Furthermore, we had drinks in the garden as the weather was lovely and our friends joined us for dinner. Whilst we were sitting there, there was a big gurgling noise from a drain on the grass that lifted up with a surge of water and then there was an awful smell of sewerage, which made us move tables. The water was then leaking down into the car park, so very unhygienic. I would never stay in this hotel again and would appreciate you passing our comments onto the Premier Inn.
very good breakfast (english breakfast), good bed.
in both of two days I have spent there, there, there was no hot water available, they were not able to fix it shortly.
The bed and breakfast in the morning.
The disabled ramp didn't work so were unable to get our 9month old son in his pushchair up to the restaurant so had to eat else where!!!! Also bottom hinge was broken on bathroom door so did not shut properly and feel family rooms should be on ground floor because as there was no lifts we had to lug all our bags and babies stuff up 2 flights of stairs. Overall the place needs some tlc.
Not being able to pay cash without ID - Very odd.
location to Silverstone
LOCATION AND STAFF
STAYED 3 NIGHTS AND ROOM NOT CLEANED AT ALL
Good location near canal. Friendly help young staff. Quirky buildinhg well fitted out - but a bit worn.
Comfortable beds Activity pack for children
Tea and coffee in room and at breakfast of poor quality. No outdoor area for children.
I was served the wrong breakfast
privacy, comfort and safety.
Thought the room was difficult to find and it was awkward to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs.
