Everything about the trip was perfect with a great location and very comfy
Lack of tea or coffee in the room
The pub was very good
There were three single beds with the requested double bed in the room making the space very cramped and one side of the double bed almost impossible to use.
room was lovely
Staff were helpful. We arrived quite late, I could barely walk after finishing a very long race, they kindly allowed us to order food at the last minute and eat in our room. Everything else was absolutely fine.
Nothing in particular. We just needed a cheap place to crash for the night before continuing on our journey and this place ticked all the boxes... :-)
Very helpful staff in the hotel and pub restaurant, comfy bed. Free wifi, free parking.
Only one towel in the bathroom, I could have gone to the office to ask for another but thought as we booked in for 2 people they would have supplied two.
Good food pub was lovely. The room clean and well maintained
The bathroom light stopped working which made it difficult to get ready and checking out was slow when I could of just been told to leave key. Rooms are a little dated
helpful staff, great room
Nothing was a problem to all the staff and management. They made you feel very welcome.
The value. It was £82 for two nights and for that we had a nice big room and a big comfy bed. Relatives stayed nearby in more expensive hotels (some double the money) and commented on how similar our hotel was. Clean, comfortable, quiet and great value
It was a bit tired but so were other hotels nearby. The hook did fall off the bathroom door too but that was I think down to its need for a refresh. All in all I would stay again.
Room was quite chilly
Breakfast Very good
Accomodation very very tired
Staff and accomadation was good
Poor breakfast service, had to wait 25 minutes for full English, left half of it due to my schedule very poor considering that it wasn't at all busy.
The food and service in the pub were great. The room was much like you would expect in an chain hotel.
My only negative was that the soap dispenser in the shower was empty
Peace & quiet
Lovely friendly welcome, fast booking in, no complaints at all about the room, food was lovely, all the staff were so friendly and helpful without being pushy. I have seen some negative posts about the rooms - yes possibly a bit tired but for goodness sake everything there you need and clean, who cares about a few scratches etc. This is a budget hotel and good value for money ..... I will definitely be staying here again.
good location Reasonable Price Good food choice
room was very dated and in need of major refurbishment
Location is easy to locate. Near local facilities, shops, garage etc. Friendly staff. Great breakfast choice.
The noise of the climate control generator whilst trying to sleep.. Single Glasing promoting traffic noise, as the location is on a major crossroad.
The room was large and the bed gave a great nights sleep.
I had no problems
Good value for money nice and quiet very good service in the restaurant good food and good breakfast
Friendly, helpful staff- pleasant comfortable and clean room - good choice on restaurant menu - special request regarding room honoured.
Traffic noise, but this is unavoidable at such a busy location.
overall good food was very good value.
It served the purpose
I had no Hot Water for a Shower or shave in the morning and it was too early to report to reception- 6.30am - No excuse for not having hot water in a hotel. Rooms are tired looking and I pity the occupants below with the loose floorboards. Décor is shabby and worn - not surprised it's no longer a Premier Inn. Restaurant well staffed but again all décor is pretty tired looking.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly including bar and Resteraunt staff. The menu and food were very very good. The location of the hotel was very good for my purposes, attending the MotoGP at Silverstone. I feel a little sorry for the staff as they did everything they could to make you feel welcome.
Decor in need of refurbishing in all areas and rooms. The en-suite facility in the rooms were dated and the showers inefficient. TV' s didn't work very well either. Sadly in very much need of bringing up to date. I couldn't recommend until some work to fixtures, fittings and decor updated.
bed where comfy and place was clean generally very happy overall
the room price was slightly high as friends who were also staying managed to get their room alot cheaper
quality of room, service, food were all good
no tray for cups, shaver socket did not work
