Convenient to city centre
Location; parking outside our room; helpful and friendly staff. Evening meal service in adjacent restaurant was excellent.
The breakfast arrangements would benefit from being reviewed by by someone well-qualified in this type of catering.
The motel effect style of the inn it was very convenient have my car outside the room especially in the wet weather.
Very pleasant and friendly staff in the Chef and Brewer next door. Liked being able to park directly outside our room Effective heating.
The cost of the room and its facilities did not match the very basic conditions we found. 2 teabags, 2 coffee sachets, No wardrobe or desk, just shelves, only one armchair. Exceedingly noisy fan in the bathroom, too many additional electric cables on the wall.
Clean, friendly, easy parking with spaces, pub serving good lunches.
super friendly staff comfortable & well equipped rooms great parking
the fact they had removed the sad from the menu in the pub attached
Good location, warm room, felt like we had our own apartment with our daughter in the opposite room to us (same entrance for both rooms) friendly staff when we arrived both at reception and at the Mundy arms.
Having to go home
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent layout unlike the usual Premier Inns with the Motel style, The adjacent Mundy Arms was really inviting with a good atmosphere and great food, An excellent choice at breakfast . All the staff were informative and pleasant
WIFI only free for 30 min
Courtyard layout Easy Parking outside the door
Gemma on reception was fantastic
The pub attached was very expensive. Food wasn't great
rooms on ground floor, proximity to car park.
Restaurant too crowded and only OK. Had to eat down the road as 1 hr wait for a table without booking.
The hot bath. The barn style rooms.
Noisy people leaving the pub late. No breakfast on Saturdays until 8 am. but we had to be at our charity event by 8 am. The bed is too firm and needs a mattress topper. The soap dispenser is too high to reach if taking a bath.
Meals were excellent
We were in a party of two other couples. I was the first to book, but when we checked in, our room had been given to people who refused their room nearer the road. Consequently we were given their room 12 away from our friends. The sound of traffic from the A52 kept us awake all night, up to 3.00am a vehicle was passing every minute. By 3.10 am it was constant. We had to close the window as the noise was unbearable, sweltering after a hot June day.
Great food in pub
Friendly service , predictable quality.
Cracked wash basin, bed was rather hard.
Having the Mundy Arms just opposite the hotel is a big plus
We have stayed in many premier inns but this felt inferior to their normal standard. 1) I could feel every spring in the bed. Usually the beds at premier inns are mega comfy- not this one 2) only one bath towel between 2 of us... Shouldn't have to ask for another towel when you arrive 3) room was very dated 4) when I handed the keys in on the morning of departure, the receptionist (despite smiling) was on the phone and simply took the keys from me without asking if everything was ok. 5) very disappointed with Premier Inn. Would not stay here again.
The layout of the premises...little chalets around a courtyard. Easy car parking. Cleanliness. Friendly staff. Good tv in room. Well appointed bathroom. Nice area. Very good restaurant.
Use of 0870 phone number to contact Premier Inn. The toilet rolls were thin and narrow, not what you would expect of a Premier hotel. Only one face towel and one bath sheet are provided for 2 people. Had to go to reception to get more. No charge, but it is "policy". Penny pinching. Guests should feel they are cossetted.
great location, staff were exceptional they couldn't do enough for you and were so helpful ,breakfast was lovely freshly cooked and plenty of it, service at the restraint was exellent
Staff were welcoming and friendly, could not do enough to make stay good - this is why I have stayed before.
The restaurant was a bit like Fawlty Towers and everything we ordered was off the menu that night. There was a lovely pub and carvery down the road.
We found it difficult to fijnd
Staff were welcoming and very helpful.would recommend the breakfast.
In parts the accommodation was tired.
Quiet room, roomy, close to Derby. Great having the Pub at the same location for breakfasts and other meals. Saved you driving at night.
Friendly staff, very accommodating when we needed to check in late at night. Superb breakfast with everything we needed to set us up for the day! Will most certainly be returning x
