Room comfortable breakfast was excellent plenty of choice.
In a room near the back of hotel next to kitchens. We were woken by bins being emptied. Then woken again in the morning by a delivery truck and all the movements that went with it .at breakfast got order wrong.
The staff were excellent & friendly, I last stayed at this Hotel 3 years ago & all the staff remembered me as soon as I walked into reception, that was amazing & the food was exceptional, would definitely stay here again if ever in Derby, UK
The lights above the bench did't work which made it hard to see what you were doing on the laptop at night & I was told the next morning that the repairman would fix it that day but it never happened.
I have never stayed in the Ritz or Claridges and am never likely to, but why worry? All I need in a hotel - comfy room, excellent plumbing, good food, friendly, attentive staff is there for perhaps one tenth of the price. I always look out for a Premier Inn as my first choice in any town I visit.
Cannot think of a single complaint.
Quite expensive with no breakfast included in price
We loved are short stay, the staff where so helpful!
No faults at all!
Clean value for money
Parking spaces narrow
Cold Main meal in the evening, had to sent back not cooked. Luke warm coffee & strange taste for breakfeast.
Good location, friendly staff.
Welcoming friendly staff . Very happy to help . Give excellent service
Stable bed quality. Restaurant for dinner is in hotel.
I thought the breakfast and restaurant choice was very good. We could have done with a DVD player in the room as we stayed in at night. Also a fridge would have been an added bonus.
I thought the surrounding area was a bit rough. We walked to the KFC to find a man arguing aggressively with the worker. Also men were sat on a wall drinking alcohol. We felt a bit uneasy.
Wife beds etc
Bad smell coming from.the bathroom and from the bath plug in the bath had water regurgitating up from it.
Both Fran and Vanessa couldn't have been more accomadating and did everything within their power to keep us comfortable under the circumstances. They offered sheets, Fans, iced juice/ water etc... Thank you ladies.
I had my 5 week old baby with me. It was so hot in the rooms that we had to give him a few cold baths. The rooms were hotter than the temp outside. We couldn't sleep and woke up with headaches. The fan we were given broke in the middle of the night. It is ridiculous that you don't have airconditioned rooms. If it wasn't for Fran and Vanessa I would have moved to a different hotel. Every year we attend a South African get together in Derby. I will mention we stayed with you however I will warn them of the lack of air conditioning. I would strongly suggest you invest in air conditioning units.
The welcome iced water in reception, breakfast & easy parking. The fan in the room
Slow check in & incomplete housekeeping
comfortable, basic, great food
bit expensive but worth it
The staff were fantastic
The prices seemed a little steep
The usual large, clean, and very comfortable room. Plenty of parking.
Very friendly, helpful staff.
We appreciated being given ( as we had requested ) a ground-floor room. Breakfasts were good and in a pleasant, light environment. The location of the hotel was very convenient for our personal needs, permitting quick access to and from the south of Derby. We had a gathering of 14 folk at an early evening meal on the Saturday and the management of this by the restaurant staff was exemplary.
Not applicable. We were happy with all aspects of our stay.
table table restaurant attached. 3 mins drive from moorways athletics park.
staff extremely helpful. Breakfast was perfectly cooked, presented and served. Great choice of food too.
Very clean considering it was an older venue. Staff really friendly and accomodating
Bed too hard. Like a firm bed but this was really firm.
Very quiet (had a good night's sleep)
The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff were very helpful and friendly
The windows in the room we had our breakfast on the front by the car park needed cleaned inside and out, didn't look like they had been done for a while
All staff encountered were very professional and welcoming. Room quiet and comfortable.
Power of shower could have been better.
