Premier Inn Dover (A20)Folkestone Road, CT15 7AB Dover (Show map) Very good, Score from 112 reviews“The overall experience was great - very late check in due to delayed ferry because of fog - arrived at 1.15am instead of the expected time of 10.15pm. The check in was trouble free, breakfast in the morning at 10.28am (2 mins before kitchen closed for breakfasts) was fantastic - they still provided 5 hungry people with a full english breakfast and everything else to go with it !!”

Following an initial mix up, due to the fact that details stating we required a cot for our baby were not passed on to the hotel as requested on booking (all the cots were unfortunately unavailable on our arrival) a member of staff very kindly travelled to another local Premier Inn and collected a cot for us.... The service all round was second to none and the staff were all really welcoming, friendly and approachable and we enjoyed a very pleasant stay...Excellent!!

Good facilities. Your web site tends to show it as on the a20 when in fact it is well off and not signed at all. It cost me alot of time fonding it. A sign on the a20 is needed.

Location is convenient for early-morning ferry departures from Dover. Room was adequaely proprtioned and appinted. Adjacent restaurant good, super breakfasts. There are no hand-rails, grab-handles or other means of assisting getting into and out of a very slippery bath and no anti-skid mat. Potentially quite dangerous for someone wihout help. Easy to locate from motorway. No so easy from central Dover unless one takes the motorway..

It met all our needs. We wanted an overnight stay before taking an early morning ferry to Dunkirk. The Beefeater Restaurant next door was convenient and had a good menu. We had difficulty following the instructions to use the television to give us an early wake-up call. Finally, the receptionist came to our room and did it for us.

Conveniently placed on the way from Dover docks to the M20, which meant we could have a restful break after driving from the south west of France (a 12 hour journey) before continuing home the next day. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and both the evening meal and breakfast were very good value and well cooked. Could here the next room in the shower in the early morning.

The staff acted professionally at all times I had a meal at the on site restaurant The steak was the most expensive item on the menu and inedible(almost) I did complain, they did offer to supply another but I declined the offer. They provided a free dessert. There was little sound insulation in the building and I didn't sleep due to loud noises from adjacent room.

Easy check in. Excellent clean room. Good room facilities. Comfortable bed, and although on a main busy road as stated on the hotel description it was extreemly quiet (even during the tail end of extreem weather in america which reached england). Excellent breakfast and good value for money. Beefeater restaurant is on site. On booking a table in the beefeater restaurant for an evening meal,we were then told that the sunday roast and the pork ribs were sold out, leaving little choice from the menu. This was not the fault of the hotel.

Staff were friendly, room was comfortable and clean, the bed was a bit hard but no major complaint as beds at other premier Inns have been great and may have been just this one room, restaurant next door was wonderful - good dinner and breakfast and reasonably priced. Location is great if you are travelling by car. Harder to get to on public transport. Lots to do in the surrounding areas.
