easy access to ferry terminal. Easy for petrol and travelling distances
Big comfy bed. Quiet. Pub for food close by. Easy parking.
Only the sort of place you want to stay one night passing through. No character and too far out of town for a long stay.
every thing except the noise.i only use premier inns when i go to the continent
could not get to sleep as the occupants of the room above me did not stop walking about until at least 0030.
bar, and restaurant was good, although a bit of a walk to get to it in a very slippy wet pathway
we came away shattered due to the road noise and the smell from what seemed to be a cess pit. Also covered in bites........ not just us but others in the group that travelled with us.
Great all you can eat breakfast at the Brewers Fayre next door. 5 minutes drive from Dover Castle and the Docks.
No air conditioning.
Staff in both the P. Inn and the Restaurant were so helpful and friendly - could not do enough for us. There was a particular young woman on the reception at the Inn, who was quite exceptional.
It was hot in our room (ground floor), although the room came with a large fan, which was good. Someone in the overhead room was constantly up and down in the night, this kept us awake at times - rooms could be better insulated against noise.
room size , for 4 people we had only single room . There was not enough space to walk in the room ,
very handy being near the port will use again
Quiet, staff very friendly, hotel clean and very comfortable. Rooms lovely size with lovely TV with plenty of channels. Had 3 rooms close together.
Could hear traffic from my room even with window shut.
NOISE FROM THE ROAD, THE NOISE FROM THE ROOM ABOVE.WE WERE GIVEN A DISABLED ROOM FOR NO REASON AND THE BED WAS TO LOW SO DID NOT SLEEP WELL
Staff lovely pub and facilities great lovely looking room
Bad night sleep heard the floor above walking around all night
The room was perfect, had team and coffee facilities and was advised by reception that could help ourselves to more if required, unfortunately couldn't take advantage as left very early in the morning for ferry.
The only downside was nowhere on site to eat, just brewers fayre pub just a min walk away which is fine if weather ok, which it wasn't!
Welcome tea and coffee facilities at the end of our journey. Cleanliness of the room and the bed was wonderful. The complimentary bath and shower gels were great. Lovely bath in the evening and good shower to refresh you in the morning.
The pillow was not as soft as if I'd hoped. Awful, dirty, smelly walk between hotel and restaurant. The restaurant needs a complete makeover.
Friendly welcome and helpful staff, quickly bringing a cot for our baby. Quiet night's sleep and just a few minutes away from our early morning ferry. Good start to our holiday.
Very handy for early ferry, everything you need, staff helpful.
It is ideally situated. Just a few minutes from Dover. Free parking on site. Good sized room for 3 people. Very clean and comfortable. Bathroom roomy with a lovely bath and shower. Had a goodnights sleep. You can eat at a nice restaurant near the hotel. Fantastic breakfast. Would stay again next time I am in Dover.
Good location for access to cross channel ferries
A bit far out of town - nothing else in the vicinity in walking distance (but not a problem for a one-night stopover)
Room very nice and clean plenty of towels, nice and quiet
A bit of road noise in the night
Just a great location for the ferry port.
Good location easy to find
Room hot & given proximity to busy road option to open window not available
Very convenient for the Channel crossing. Quiet at nightime. Very comfortable bed.
Room catered for everything except hot weather
Room was far too hot even with the fan going all night and the window open. The temperature by the morning was 26 degrees in the room and hence none of us slept well.
The staff were very helpful and it was a good ,accessible and close proximity to the eurotunnel .
The size of the room. The location of the hotel for getting to Dover Castle, Deal Castle and Canterbury. The breakfast selection and service in Brewers Fayre.
The first room we were allocated was number 16. This was very hot 27 degrees, and noisy due to the room fronting on to the main road. There is no aircon provided and the small fan was inadequate to cool the room. The very helpful receptionist (Karis) found us a similar room at the back of the hotel and this was cooler and less noisy, also you could ope the window without hearing traffic noise. The single extra bed provided for one of my grandsons was just a base i.e no mattress and he found this most uncomfortable. At 5.30 am we were all woken by the people in the room above walking around and (presumably) packing. The noise continued until 6.15 am. We were told that they were aware of the need for extra insulation and this was being looked into. In my opinion the room above should not have been sold if they were aware of this problem.
